    Intense Romantic Suspense!

I loved the books in Rachel Dylan's Atlanta Justice series because they revealed her knowledge of the law and they also had a core group of characters that were featured in the three books of the series. Dylan now has a new series and this first book is a doozy! End Game is set in Washington, DC and it is filled with intrigue and an inside look at our US government. There are agents from the FBI, NCIS, and several other government agencies who become involved in the murders of several members of the military and the race begins to stop the deadly agenda of the killer (or killers)! Who is behind these murders and is government corruption involved? FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini are the main focus in End Games but they are supported by several friends and it's obvious that future stories in the Capital Intrigue series will focus on some of these friends. This is one reason that I love Dylan's book....they allow us to build relationships with the characters as we continue to read the series. Second reason: Intrigue, action, and suspense. Just when I thought I knew who was behind these deadly acts, another clue would surface. Third reason: Dylan's books are always rich in faith and the act of prayer is always incorporated into the plot. Bailey has a deep faith in God and she talks to Him constantly and it is the Christian witness that she shares that helps to bolster Marco's own belief. And did I mention romance? Bailey and Marco's working relationship deepens into attraction and then into something more; their chemistry is intense but I can always count on Dylan to keep the romance exciting but unobjectionable. I thoroughly enjoyed End Games and I am eager for the next book in the series. If you enjoy romantic suspense and Christian fiction, you definitely want to read this book. It's a keeper! I received a complimentary copy from the author and publisher but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts and opinion.

    Web of Intrigue!

Three seemingly unrelated men die, but all in the same unusual way. One is a Navy SEAL, the other an Army Ranger, the third, a civilian. The mystery grows as another military man is targeted as the guilty one, but it is evident to many that he is being framed—or is he? Who is the real killer? Agents Baily Ryan, FBI, and Marco Agostini, NCIS, have teamed up to solve this. Before their work is complete, it is obvious Baily has also been targeted. The web of people involved is so large, it might involve the government itself. As more attempts on lives are made, who can be trusted? The longer they take to figure it out, the bigger the body count becomes. This clean tale is full of action, thrills and many puzzling crimes with lots of twists and turns—with the one behind it difficult to figure out. Characters rely on their faith to get them through dangerous situations, along with life itself. Besides being interesting, the side stories may increase the number on the suspect list. This 5-star book will be enjoyed by fans of adventurous mysteries and suspense. Bethany House Publishing has provided bookreadingtic with a complimentary copy of, End Game, for the purpose of review.

    Exciting Romantic Suspense

End Game has the perfect blend of exciting action and tender romance. The main characters are likable and well-developed. Even the supporting characters are very well fleshed-out. There were so many things that I loved about this book: the romance that develops between Bailey and Marco, the godly Christian man that mentors Izzy, the way that the faith of the characters is seamlessly woven into the story line, the many twists and turns of the plot, the way that the team worked together, Bailey's close relationship with her two best friends and their support for her, and the way the US military is portrayed. I highly recommend this book and plan to read the rest of the series as it becomes available. I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this thrilling romantic suspense.

    Rachel Dylan’s End Game

Captivating writing, vivid description, thrills with chills creating a completely gripping riveting storyline with unrelenting twists and turns to hold both the reader’s and characters attention until the end game finalizes. Murder, mayhem, conspiracy, mugging, theft, terrorist plus political intrigue makes this a page turning thriller. The main characters are FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini. They are well developed, very realistic characters sharing undeniable chemistry. They find themselves involved in an unpredictable plot. The supporting characters are well fleshed out, relatable, very competent additions to this well plotted, uniquely different, problem solving murder mystery. Come along with this array of characters to find the culprits evolved. I volunteered to read End Game. Thanks to the author and publisher for the opportunity. My opinion is voluntary and my own. A Recommended Read!!!

    A fast-paced, high-stakes thriller

With End Game, Rachel Dylan delivers a fast-paced, high-stakes thriller that still finds room for romance. A novel like this could be gritty, violent, and scary. Instead, it’s gripping but non-traumatic to timid readers like me. What I most appreciated, though, was a secondary factor: Bailey and her two best friends, Viv and Layla, have a fantastic, strong friendship. They have one another’s backs professionally as well as emotionally, and it’s a fantastic example. Since End Game is book 1 in the Capital Intrigue series, I’m hoping we’ll see the other two women as main characters in books 2 and 3. A surprising number of the key characters are Christians—perhaps more than one would find thrown together on a case like this in real life. Their struggles to process why bad things happen, past hurts, and fear of loss are one thread in the fabric of this story. Nothing’s preachy or glib, just honest wrestling such as many Christians do in real life. [I received a complimentary copy of this book via #NetGalley.
