  • Loved!

Loved! This is a fast paced thriller that fans of the genre will love. This is a great story and could have been pulled from tomorrow's front page. While this has a bit of science fiction, it feels disturbingly possible and kept me turning pages just as quickly as possible. Sherlock and Savich insert themselves after Savich helps a neighbor with an urgent problem. Unfortunately, Savich's being there put him right in the orbit of a cop that hates him and is out to make his life hell, through any means necessary - even at the risk of community safety. These odd circumstances seem unrelated, but with Max's help (super computer), Sherlock and Savich strive to makes sense of things and solve the crimes. Fans of the genre will love this book. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. Additionally, while it is book 21 in the series, this feels just as fresh and engaging as book 1 in the series. The author is on my must read authors' list.

  • Twists kept this moving fast

Bank heist of six safe deposit boxes contents, a maniacal hostage taker, a stolen newborn baby boy... Catherine Coulter weaves these disparate situations together in the 21st FBI thriller featuring Savage & Sherlock. As a chapter ends one tense situation, the next one begins picking up where a different tense situation left off, keeping me reading way past my bedtime. At times I found there to be too many characters to keep track of, but because the series is one I've followed for 20 years it was worth the effort. I volunteered to read an ARC through Net Galley.

  • Suspense

The thriller was just that, suspenseful, dynamic and suspect. It is her usual style and characters, which you get to know and strive for their successes.

  • A Terrific Series

Sherlock and Savich are wonderful characters. A husband and wife team working for the FBI. They have a great partnership working together and with other members of their elite team. There is humour and suspense in every story. I've read every book in this series. Worth reading. You don't have to start at the beginning of the series. It's a stand alone story.
