    Eternity

this one is not a page turner. Exhausting pages of dazzling far future description and a profusion of possible universes. I suspect it might bring a sense of completion to previous novels in the series and their characters but it isn't a stand alone sequel - at least for me.

    Didn’t grab me

Not a good stand-alone book ! Too political for me, and too many unfamiliar names of the different socio- political groups initially mentioned - I read it for an hour but it didn’t do much for me in that time. I like trilogies and other series, and decided that there’s many other good sci-fi options out there instead. In fairness, this was the first Greg Bear book I tried and I have not read any previous books in this series which may be necessary, but it certainly didn’t grab my interest.
