Like going home, a good home

Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas: Tucker by Emily March is the 17th Eternity Springs book as well as the 2nd book in the new Redemption series. After reading all these books I am now sure it will be the same for me if author March writes one hundred books. Every single time I fall so easily right back into the story that it is like I’m back home. Back home to a place that has slipped my memory a little, but then the feelings flood back. A few chapters in and I want them all to be my family. In fact I feel like they are my family. I think I know where the story is headed but the joy is in getting there. Emily March has a gift for writing characters you can’t help but love. They are just so good, so honorable. Even when they fear they aren’t. Only honorable people worry about being honorable. The description is of Gillian but could describe anyone and everyone in Eternity Springs and Redemption: kind, generous, loyal, loving, faithful to promises, persistent in goals, confident and proud, often practical but also a bit daring and adventurous. You can’t help feeling good as you read. Gillian is full of contradictions, and very vulnerable. She knows breaking her engagement was the right thing but it still hurts, and it has badly shaken her confidence in herself. Tucker thought he would be a military man forever, until he discovered he just could not. He is tough on the outside, soft on the inside. Such love just waiting to pour out for the right woman. I was overcome with sweetness and had tears in my eyes when Tucker was picking the wedding gown for the window display. But don’t think an Eternity Springs/Redemption story is just sweetness and fluff. In the midst of these wonderful characters are some not-so-wonderful characters and deceit and danger. Although it seems obvious where the plot is going it will surprise you with twists and turns and totally unexpected events, as well as laughter and heat and lots of love. Thanks to St. Martin’s Press via NetGalley for providing an advance copy for my honest review. All opinions are my own. I thorough enjoyed Tucker and highly recommend it. I’m eagerly waiting for the next and the next and the next visits to Eternity Springs and Redemption.

Another wonderful story by Emily March

With wonderful characters that will have you wanting to take trip to Redemption, Emily March has once again delivered a well-written story that will you leave you smiling and wanting more of the magic that she has created with Eternity Springs. It was easy to fall in love with Tucker right away. He’s a bit lost, looking for his future now that he has left the service. He’s honorable and solid, sexy and romantic…basically everything you would want from a man. Although I had a soft spot for Gillian, especially as her story unfolded, it took a bit longer for me to come around. She so wants her happy-ever-after that she’s lost sight of what’s truly important – the person she is going to share that happy ever after with. Eventually she finds her way, but it was tough at times watching her second-guess and doubt herself over and over. Emily March has created a world that truly defines what family is and I love how she brings her characters from the Eternity Springs series together to add an additional dimension to the story she is telling. The Blessing cousins, Angelica and Celeste, are always a hoot and add a magic to every story that never fails to leave me with a life lesson of my own. The support and warmth, as well as the tough love that always seems to be needed at times with some of these stubborn characters, is always written with such impact to each story. Ms. March has created a magical world in her Eternity Springs series and I know that every new story will be crafted with relatable characters and wonderful dialogue that will leave me with a renewed belief in love and happy-ever-afters. If you haven’t picked up a book by Emily March, then you are missing your chance at the same.

I adored getting grubby with Tucker and Gillian!

When these two first meet, the sparks are fiery hot but Gillian is engaged to someone else. As Tucker gets settled in the small town of Redemption, Gillian is struggling to make her dream wedding come true. This is a delightful story, full of heart and charm as Gillian and Tucker first build a friendship before they embark on a romance. And oh, what a romance it is! The events leading up to the official start of their love story were intense and my heart truly broke for Gillian's pain, but Tucker really came through for her in a huge way and showed her that life was full of possibilities. Watching the aftermath of their impulsive weekend was sublime, and the final resolution was pure perfection. Both Celeste and Angelica are in fine form in this book, offering up just the right insights and life lessons for everyone in town. Hints were left like breadcrumbs for what I hope will be the next story for Boone, while this story gave us a beautiful HEA for Tucker and Gillian as it dovetailed perfectly with Jackson and Caroline's epilogue. If you've ever been to Eternity Springs, you don't want to miss this enchanting installment of the fantastic series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

    Tucker

We are back in Redemption,Texas. Tucker has come back home after leaving the army. Now he must decide what to do with his life. Gillian is a mess after her engagement has been called off. All the wonderful characters are back to help them with their wise meddling and great advice. Another great addition to the series.

    Entertaining

4 Star Review of Tucker: Eternity Springs: The McBrides Of Texas by Emily March   Emily March is a new author to me. It can be read as a stand alone, but I do wonder if you would get a deeper appreciation if you were to read other books in the series first.   Tucker is a retired Army Ranger who I fell hard and fast for ; a totally swoon worthy character that ticked the boxes for me. Although I had a hard time connecting with Gillian’s character. Gillian is totally focused on weddings and her business Bliss Bridal Salon. The fact that her own love life is in ruins, does not help. Tucker has never thought about marriage and yet as he gets to know Gillian, he wonders if he can convince her to take a chance on love with him? I love small town romances and Redemption, Texas sounds like a great place to visit. This is a sweet, romantic, heartwarming, love story with characters that you cannot help but fall for and which I enjoyed.
