Once you start reading any of Ethan books, you will be hooked. I have read every book Ethan has wrote, and enjoyed all of them. Strongly recommend to start reading them today.

    Real page-turners

An excellent way to start three great series. All books are packed with action, mystery and intrigue and contain all sorts of twists and turns. The only thing you can count on as you read these books is that nothing goes as planned for our heroes and heroines as they undertake their missions.

    All of them are great.

Arctic Wargame This is the first of the Justin Hall series. I enjoyed this book because it had lots of twists and turns and you had no idea were it was going. I enjoy books that keep you interested in what is going on, you just don't want to put it down. The blurb adequately describes the storyline so if you like books with action this is the one for you. There are icebreakers on Canadian waters. Who are they and why are they there. They do not have authorization to be there. Justin Hall and his crew fly out to check it out. When they find a depot that is destroyed they land to check it out. But there is a trader on the team. The trader takes the pilot and they fly off leaving the rest to freeze to death. Lots of twists, turns and action, keeps you engaged through the whole book. If you like spy books with lots of action this is a must read. Great job Ethan Corrector Javin and his partner, Claudia, are a team of Correctors. They are the team that cleans up other cases that have gone wrong. This time they have to find and retrieve a flash drive that may contain information that could destroy world governments. There are lots of twists and turns and a lot of other people looking for the same flash drive. Do the partners start to feel betrayed by each other. This is a very hard book to put down. Keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Can not wait for the next one to come out. If you love spy thrillers this is a must read. Priority Target, Carrie is attempting to confirm a drone attack actually eliminated the intended target. The story has lots of twists, turns and action. I really enjoyed the book as I have all his other books. They keep you on the edge of your seat.

A terrific trio of first-in-series books.

Arctic Wargame Great to have the Russian FSB as the bad guys again and both unusual and refreshing to have Canadians as the heroes. Added enjoyment having the saga play out in the Arctic Circle, so that Justin and Carrie have to battle it as well as the protagonists. A slightly far-fetched premise, but the storyline was intriguing and contained plenty of action, and some well developed, engaging characters, especially a couple of rather eclectic inhabitants of the frozen north. A great action-packed read and a terrific introduction to both the characters and the author, whose every book I have now read and I'm patiently awaiting the next adventure! Priority Target Packed with action and suspense. Had this on my to-be-read pile for a while, but was a little reluctant to open it, worried that it wouldn't have the tension, suspense or action of the Justin Hall series. Just goes to prove what an absolutely remarkable example of an idiot I am! Every, single bit as good as any other Ethan Jones novel, perhaps more stressful to read knowing Carrie's on her lonesome, relying on others as her backup rather than Justin Hall. The action's relentless, the tension extreme and the characters remarkably good. Exhausting, but a very satisfying read! The Corrector An edge-of-the-seat action-packed thriller. Fast paced action from Istanbul to Syria for the duo of correctors from the Canadian Intelligence Service, Javin and Claudia, who find themselves in the midst of gun battles and treachery as they try to retrieve a politically explosive flash drive. Thoroughly enjoyed these new characters and series from the talented pen of Ethan Jones. I made a definite tactical error in opening this seconds after midnight when it appeared in my kindle library - impossible to close it and go to sleep once I'd started to read it, it's adrenaline laced from beginning to end. I really should know better by now. Until next time.
