  • a perfect beginning to a new series

The prequel wet your appetite and this book gave you everything else. Marston came from nothing and made himself to become a very wealthy and successful businessman. He is also a very determined man. He loves Brinley and he will stop at nothing to keep her. She is his wife, even though she doesn’t remember their wedding in Vegas and he wants her back. He returns to Orchid Valley to stop her wedding to Julian. Brinley has spent her entire life trying to be what her parents wanted and expected of her. She was always seeking their approval. Ever since her sister passed away she knew her parents would never accept her relationship with Marston so she pushed him away. It broke her heart to do this and she never recovered from it. Ten years later she meets up with him in Vegas. The saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well that is not true for these two. They get married but the only trouble is she doesn’t remember. She returns from that trip and agrees to marry Julian. But even though she doesn’t remember something made her marry Marston. Brinley is a planner she doesn’t do spur of the moment things without a reason. Every Little Piece of Me is a story of love, determination, acceptance, family, and support. But family is not by blood alone. Even though she tried to get her parents, especially her father, to be proud of her they were never satisfied. She never measured up. It took her a long time to realize that she could be independent and not have to follow their rules to be happy. She was determined to do it on her own. She was so fortunate to have her friends. They supported her and gave her what her parents never did. Marston also accepted her for who she was. He wanted to give her the world and now he finally could. But one thing that made him different than Julian and her parents. Marston only wanted her love. He never expected anything back from giving her everything. He just wanted to help her accomplish her dreams. Once again Lexi Ryan delivers a love story so full of emotion, love, acceptance, chemistry and support. A story that has you cheering for this couple to make it through all the obstacles thrown their way. Marston came back to make Brinley his forever and stopped at nothing to make it happen. Now that is a love story that will last until eternity.

  • I'm hooked.

I don't know how she does it, but I'm hooked. Ryan crafts an epic romance using at it's heart the emotions that drive us. What seems complicated can prove to be quite simple. Every Little Piece of Me examines both sides of the scenario. Marston and Brinley are a dance interrupted. Will their past heartbreak become their present undoing?

  • 4.5 Second Chance Stars!

I fell in love with Marston and Brinley after reading the prequel Ryan surprised us with, making me totally invested in their HEA! This forbidden romance is everything I crave in my stories with the perfect blend of heartbreak, humor, and heat! Marston and Brinley have history. Back in high school, they were both each others first loves, seeing more in each other than anyone else. But he was the hired help, bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and she was the untouchable, privileged princess. They had an instant firery connection that was doomed from the start. Everything was against Marston, but he was determined to become the man who was worthy of her. Now six months after they reconnected in Las Vegas, she doesn't remember the wedding that meant everything to Marston. He is determined to fight for her and prove they are meant to be together forever. But Brinley's up coming marriage is more complicated than he imagined, and a secret she has kept from him could hurt more than anything. Not to mention her parents still have a hold over her and 'the help' will never be good enough. The connection between Marston and Brinley is so electric, they can't stay away from each other as they figure out how or if they could ever overcome the forces that are still working against them. I loved the way Ryan told this story in flashback sequence, helping us understand their relationship, past and present. We see their blossoming love, and all the heartbreaking events that tore them apart. There are so many intriguing facets to their story that held me completely captive from start to finish. I loved all their friends who were so fun, loyal, and supportive, making the perfect springboard to more exciting and steaming romance stories. I loved this heartwarming, emotional, and sizzling romance, and I can't wait to read more from Orchid Valley!

  • Every Little Piece of Me

Marston comes from nothing and wants to prove that he can be something. Brinley wants to be her own person and not have to be who everyone expects her to be. When Brinley's heart is broken, Marston consoles her and they end up falling in love but that all changes when Brinley pushes Marston away when a tragedy happens in her family. Ten years later Marston and Brinley run into each other in Las Vegas and old feelings resurface and the chemistry is off the charts. Brinley wakes up not knowing what has happened and heads home to Orchid Valley. When Marston receives an invitation to Brinley's wedding he decides it's time to return home and win back his love. Every Little Piece of Me is a second chance romance that is a heavy emotional rollercoaster ride. This book does deal with forms of addiction and abuse that may be triggers to some people. The story was an interesting telling of both past and present which worked in some parts and did not work in other parts. Marston and Brinley had always loved each other and were two broken people that finally got their second chance at romance and helped each other heal. I feel that Brinley needed to be a little bit stronger than she was. *ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review*
