    An Amazing Ride! Must Read!

Awesome read filled with action! Loved every minute of this amazing ride! Sent to execute an EXIT order on Sabrina Hightower, Mason Hunt wants to be absolutely sure that she’s guilty of the crimes for which she’s been accused by his employer, EXIT Inc. When an ex-enforcer, Devlin Buchanan and his old friend, Ramsey Tate tell him innocents are being targeted for termination, this rubs Mason the wrong way since he became an enforcer to keep the bad guys from injuring innocent people in the first place. If he is unwillingly killing innocents then he’s no better than the bad guys. Sabrina’s life hasn’t been normal for quite some time. Her brother was killed in a so-called mugging, her grandfather has mysteriously disappeared, and her cousin has her being investigated in regard to his disappearance. Having been labeled a convicted felon and ordered to leave Colorado, she’s now living in North Carolina and is determined to learn as much as she can about the tour company she’s suing for being responsible in her parents’ zip lining accident, killing both of them before her very eyes. The tour company—EXIT Inc. When someone breaks into her home, she does her best to protect her life and escape only to be captured, and dragged into the woods by a sexy yet deadly man who says he’s not going to hurt her unless she’s not as innocent as he’s been told. Innocent of what? Soon, she and Mason become the hunted and more than a lawsuit is on the line now…their lives are too. EXIT STRATEGY by Lena Diaz is an action-packed, page-turner, thrill ride of the greatest proportion. I loved every minute of this amazing thriller. This is one of my all-time favorite kind of reads and it did not disappoint. We were first introduced to the covert organization posing as an international tour company called EXIT Inc. in Lena Diaz’s thriller, TAKE THE KEY AND LOCK HER UP, the last book in the Deadly Games series. I knew when Devlin Buchanan and Emily O’Malley teamed up and teased us with taking on EXIT Inc. that this series was going to be an amazing ride. I love how Lena makes her characters strong, smart, and wickedly sexy while still vulnerable. In EXIT STRATEGY, we learn that Mason is a good man at heart despite what he does for a living. He’s honorable, trustworthy, and believes in good versus evil. He also carries memories of torture and hatred but doesn’t want that to spill out to touch anyone else, especially Sabrina. Whereas Mason is secretive about his pain and emotional baggage, Sabrina is open, honest, and strong-willed but even she has her fears, and she’s forced to face one of her greatest while trying to stay alive in EXIT STRATEGY. If you enjoy a cast of characters who you will most likely see again, and again, throughout the series…characters, which are full-bodied, strong, and emotionally open, you will thrill at the Exit Inc. series. This first book in the series starts it off with non-stop action, edge of the seat expectation, and steamy cornfield sex that will have you wishing for your own Exit order. I highly recommend EXIT STRATEGY, an Exit Inc. Thriller by Lena Diaz because it rocks, it explodes with superb action and thrills, and still gives you a big smile at the end…or rather the end of Mason and Sabrina’s story because stay tuned…the ride has just begun. ***eARC provided by publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.

    Action-Packed all the way!

4.5 Stars! The action in EXIT STRATEGY begins right from the first page and its non-stop all the way to the end! Mason Hunt is on assignment from EXIT Inc. to take out a suspected terrorist financier, but everything may not be as it seems because he's been given information that indicates that his target may be innocent. Now he's rescuing her before someone else completes the assignment. Sabrina Hightower has had the worst few months of her life and it doesn't appear that it's over as she wakes up to an intruder in her home. Luckily for her, even though his original assignment was to kill her, he's there to protect her. Just because Mason lets her go does not mean that EXIT Inc. would and what follows is intense action as Mason and Sabrina race to discover the reason why Sabrina is in the cross-hairs. The problem is, they are up against a private black ops organization with a lot of resources at its disposal and they have to stay ahead of the game in order to stay alive! Wow! EXIT STRATEGY may be one of the best books I have read so far this year because Ms. Diaz very seamlessly blends the action and the romance in such a way that the reader does not feel like one overshadows the other. I love Sabrina and Mason a lot! In spite of the dangers facing them, they are both very optimistic about their chances of survival and the odds definitely increase as they get help from their connections. Another reason why I enjoyed EXIT STRATEGY so much is that Ms. Diaz actually made me sympathize with the bad guy. A parent's love for his only surviving child is nothing to sneer at and a man who has lost most of his family to a terrorist attack would do anything to protect the rest of the family he's got but what starts as a way of protecting his child spirals into murder, cover ups and kidnappings and the collateral damage just keeps piling up. EXIT STRATEGY is a thrill ride that'll have the reader riding the wave of despair, anger, fear, elation and so many other emotions alongside the characters. I know that halfway through the book I was already wishing for the second book! Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Action packed from beginning to end

Action packed from beginning to end! Even though the mystery of who is behind the kill order for Sabrina is revealed fairly early on, the reasons why are not revealed until further along. This kept me at the edge of my seat as I was reading, trying to figure out what would happen next. And I really mean at the edge of my seat, as I could see the story unfold in my mind, like a movie. The love scenes are hot and the action scenes exciting. Great start to a new series, I will definitely be reading the following books. 4.5 stars I received an ARC for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

I flew through this book & read it in one setting.

I love a spunky, sassy female protagonist. I don't want the docile, weak willed damsel in distress, unless she learns to how to kick some ass along the way. So I was thrilled that this story opened with Sabrina doing her utmost to stay one step ahead of an intruder in her house. She doesn't hide under the bed and cry, but starts sneaking through the house, wishing she still had her shotgun to defend herself. Even when she gets captured, she doesn't stop fighting or using her head to find a way out of the situation. That's my kind of girl! Mason, was an interesting guy. He reminded me a bit of John Cussack's character in Gross Pointe Blank. He's the guy who doesn't kill because he enjoys it, but because he is good at it, and someone has to do it. Mason has this semi-normal life, complete with family and friends. He's not some hard core assassin, just tough and determined to be part of the solution. And oh, that can be downright sexy. One of the interesting things about this book, was that our villian wasn't this evil mustache twirling heinously bad dude. He was a good guy that made a mistake, and then got caught up in circumstances and made a bigger mess trying to fix the initial mistake. Funny how that can happen to any of us. I am really hoping that this allows for some redemption down the line. There were some over the top scenes, but we are talking super secret covert black ops and spy style missions. Which means plenty of action, chase scenes and shoot outs for me to be sucked into and enjoy. I flew through this book and read it in one setting. The only thing stopping me from giving this book 5 stars, is that this didn't feel like book 1. There was another couple in the book and whenever they were mentioned I just felt like I was missing some backstory on them, like their story should have begun this journey. I don't know why, but their story nags at me - hence 4 stars. Thank you to Tasty Book Tours and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.
