    Thanks for your feedback!

First book by Ms. Walker & I enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this story. Sure, I clearly missed out on a bit by not having read Riley & Con's stories, but this installment is awesome on its own. It's full of emotion, friendship & unconditional love. The angst & frustration will make you want to hit something - you really feel it. Shame & Charli are such strong, forceful characters. I recommend this book for your reading pleasure.

    Shame and Charli

This was an interesting book. I love the brother's best friend stories, however sometimes they are a hit or a miss. This was kind of in between. Max, or Shame as he likes everyone to call him, has been in love with Charli for a long as he can remember but he doesn't think he is worthy of her love. Charli has been in love with Max for just as long. She has always tried to help him but he refuses any kind of help. For a few short weeks they succumb to their desires for each other but then Max pushes her away when Charli says she wants more. The story moves on from there with tragedy and pain surrounding them. I enjoyed getting to know both character's. Max is damaged and suffers from his own shame which makes it difficult for him to let anyone in, which makes him a hard person to love. Charli was wonderful, always willing to help when she can and really loving Max. However she was tired of trying to make Max show his love for her and in the end she leaves when he could use her the most. Though I understand her reasoning for leaving. I was happy that they got their HEA. This story was 4 star great and I truly enjoyed it.
