    Factfullnes

I seldom review books but this is a very worthwhile read. It uses widely available "facts" - mostly data generated by WHO and the UN - in a user friendly way to demonstrate the progress in improving the world instead of isolated anecdotal dramatic incidents to paint a negative picture of the world. Should be required reading for politicians and media. He expressed concern about climate change and while he defended the need for energy to lift people in levels 1, 2 , and 3 he did not quantify the incredibly adverse impact of the over consumption by level 4 populations. Politicians love to attack energy producers in a them vs. us vote gathering image when as the book pointed out re medical advances in levels 1 and 2 what we need is the discipline in level 4 to reduce consumption - for starters less over sized vehicle, less air conditioning, less airplane flights that are entertainment only. Great book by an obviously caring, committed intelligent man working with his family. As a business prof outlining some first principles stated "If you do not get the facts, the facts will get you."

Awesome facts to not only understand the facts but to interpret their implications as well

Good facts book. A keeper. The only new cultural divide is based on money. Older traditional differences don't matter. This book is a peek on our progress, our emotions and our behavior and it is backed with numbers

    Excellent!

This book is inspiring and thought provoking. It helps put so many things into perspective. I appreciate how this book has changed my mind about where the world really is and what areas we should actually be concerned about. I found this book easy to follow and loved the examples Hans used from his personal experiences. I’m already looking forward to when I read it again!

    Excelente leitura.

Excelente leitura, uma das poucas capazes de mudar a visao de mundo das pessoas. O mundo passa de algo estático, cinza e tenebroso para algo dinâmico, cheio de nuances e positivismo
