    Interesting

Excellent book! Sci-Fi in everyday life. It was interesting smash up aliens of an other satar, today's "Me too" movement, a broken family's fight, with phenomenal ideas in it to tie everything together. The kind of book, after You finished it, can't start another one right away... Have to chew on it a few days, give it time to digest.

    AI:Boon or Bane?

Employing as a backdrop the search for extraterrestrial life, Sawyer weaves a complex examination of the potential effects of Artificial Intelligence on humanity. Much of his thought-provoking rumination will be familiar material to those who frequent the halls of academe. The impact of AI and communication with other worlds on a troubled family lend plausibility to the tale for those of a more romantic bent. Many readers will no doubt be moved by situations relevant to their own lives. However, for this reader the story lingers overlong on sentimental interactions. Three and a half out of five.

    Imaginative

An interesting concept quite well executed, if a little drawn out at times.
