  • A must read

Another firm favourite from a fab author. This book has everything you could want. Steaminess, broody men, strong funny women, overall hilarity, and suspense too. I could go on but I'd be here all day. I will happily add this to my list of books I'll read over and over again. I won't go on anymore because I'll end up posting spoilers. Thank you Kylie!

  • The Actor and the Waitress—All the Stars!

I absolutely loved this book! Patrick is our grumpy hero who eats at Little Italy to get away from his famous Hollywood actor life. Norah is his waitress. She is average, but loyal—never selling him out. Angie, his agent, is trying to convince him to pick an actress to play his fake girlfriend to save his reputation. But Paddy picks Norah. Begin their world wind relationship! Never mind Norah’s ban on men and Patrick’s never having dated someone for longer than two dates. Get ready for all the feels! Kylie Scott knows how to weave the fairy tale! I love Norah and how her goal is to win real smiles out of her fake boyfriend! And maybe introduce him to some real food! 5 amazing stars

  • 4.5 Fun, Sweet & Sizzling Stars!

I loved this fake relationship romance between two people from completely different worlds. Patrick Walsh is a hot, A-list movie star who has become embroiled in a scandal that threatens his career. He has been labeled a player and is considered toxic to the industry and he needs to act fast to clean up his reputation. Norah Peers has been waiting on Patrick for years at the Italian restaurant where she works. She gets nervous around him but makes sure he is never bothered by anyone. Patrick is sick of the fake people in his life, and is intrigued by the quiet, kind, and beautiful waitress. He asks her to be his fake girlfriend to help clean up his image. Norah works 3 jobs to help take care of her grandmother, so the offer from Patrick is too enticing to turn down. She moves in with him and his team helps to prepare her for the events and questions she would face as his girlfriend. But she never imagined the horrifying lengths that people will go to to be close to Patrick. Patrick was distant but kind and attentive to Norah, appreciating what she gave up to help him. He realized she wasn't as quiet as he thought and her rambling when she was nervous was endearing to him. He liked how honest and authentic she was, and Norah made it her mission to earn an honest smile from him. Patrick was so sweet, protective, and swoony, and Norah is so selfless, kind, and confident. They are so perfect together and the transformation of their relationship was sweet and romantic, and the sexual tension and fiery chemistry was off the charts! I loved the pet name arc throughout their story. This was such an incredibly fun, sweet and sizzling romance! It is a seriously entertaining, heartwarming and completely addicting read!

  • This was a fun, sweet romance!

I love a good fake relationship! This was such a lighthearted, fun and sweet romance. Norah is a waitress who agrees to be in a fake relationship with movie star Patrick so he can repair his reputation and save his career. This is told entirely from Norah's point of view and I actually really enjoyed that. Patrick is quiet, broody and is good at easily hiding his emotions and this worked really well for their story. Norah is a really good, sweet person who has had to put her own dreams on hold as she shoulders responsibility for her grandmother. I loved this premise - celebrity with the girl next door who meet by chance and then pretend to have a real relationship and find themselves becoming close and the lines between what's real and what's fake being blurred. Patrick had a dry sense of humor and his ability to hide his feelings and thoughts was in direct contrast to Norah, who seems to wear her heart on her sleeve and seems to always tell everyone exactly what she is thinking. I loved watching the two of them grow together, and especially loved the humor in the writing- it's witty, smart and fun and I loved this story. I read it in one sitting - once I started I didn't want to put it down until I hit the end. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this and have voluntarily left an honest review.

  • Slow Burn Hollywood Romance!

Fake is a standalone fake romance star between a Hollywood actor and a down on her luck waitress! Patrick Walsh has been going to a quite little Italian restaurant and is caught in a love triangle between a Hollywood couple. Norah is the waitress that serves him, she is also the perfect "real girl" to help him get his reputation on track! Slow burn are always my favorite, hidden little moments here and there building til the climax! Sensual moment, cold aloof alpha is what Patrick is he keeps his distance from Norah protecting her. Norah is a little crazy she talks enough for the both of them. Kylie Scott has wrote a Hollywood redemption story perfectly unforgiving! Patrick did not sugar coat or hid anything from Norah, he was open and honest. Norah, was honest and did not let anyone push her, she may have been the pretend girlfriend but it was one her terms. A perfection of friends to lover, slow burn with all the tension and feels!!
