    Ok read

Friends to lovers book. I thought this was an ok read. It didn't have the same feel to me as previous books that I have read in the Montgomery world. I liked Mace and Adrienne but their story and romance fell a little short for me. I think because their lives were already so entwined that I didn't really feel a progression and so I was not blown away. I'm still looking forward to seeing what comes next in this spin-off .

    SO GOOD!

I loved every minute of this book!! Adrienne and Mace were such a great couple to start this series out and I think it really started with a bang! I think most of us CAR followers are big fans of the Montgomery Ink crew, and we were all so sad that their series was ending. BUT Carrie Ann saved the day with continuing on with their families!!! Adrienne is such an adorable person, she is so much like all of the other Montgomery women, and I really love that about her! I also love her relationship with Mace. They had the perfect combination for the best relationship! And Mace, oh my this man. He seems so dreamy and hot!! I loved reading about him, he really made made swoon! The chemistry that these two had was off the charts! All of the things that happened to their shop in this series was so sad, but I loved the Carrie Ann made the book unpredictable with this. There were quite a few twists and turns, and this was a big factor. I can't wait to read more and see what's to come!!!

    She's done it again!

I didnt know what to expect with this book. Yes it is a Montgomery book, but its a new start in the Montgomery series. A new branch of the family. A new city. A new tattoo shop. But one thing that isnt new is Carrie's ability to pull you into a story. Friendship and family. Love and passion. Drama and mystery. This book has it all... with the added bonus of ink and lots steamy sex. I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next book... and the last book if im honest because I am seriously confused about what is going to happen in that book. (Once you read this book you will understand). But that is one of the things Carrie does best: gets you so invested in every character, be they main or secondary, that you want to know all their stories and see them all get HEAs.

    Absolutely loved this!

I really enjoyed this story! It was a fantastic read and sucked me in from the very beginning. Adrienne and Mace have been best friends for years and are very involved in each other's life. People have always questioned them about not sleeping together but they hadn't, until now. I loved the way that we were introduced to Adrienne and Mace in this story. We get to see their friendship first, how they interact with each other and how much it means to them. Adrienne's perspective of Mace changes suddenly. She starts seeing him as more of a man, one that she is attracted to and not just a best friend. They have a night together before really talking things out and it puts them on a bit of a confusing road. They know they don't want to lose their friendship, it means too much and so they aren't sure what to risk or if they even should be trying for more. It also doesn't help that they both have a lot of things going on and most of the time they try and get into deeper conversations they get interrupted. I thought that the way the story was laid out was perfect. We get to see them try and take care of each other while in the midst of this change and figuring things out. I really liked that aspect of it. I loved getting to meet this Colorado Springs group and get to know them all better. This is definitely a story that you can start with and not have read the other Montgomery Ink books. While we see and hear about people from them, you don't miss information if you haven't read them. There is some intrigue in this story as someone doesn't want the tattoo parlor where it's located and is trying to sabotage them. This was just a fantastic read and I can't wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
