    Thanks for your feedback!

Another fantastic story in this series. I am really enjoying the unconventional characters and intriguing storylines found in Ms. Wainscott's books. Seven years ago Gemma Thornton made a choice and picked Blake, who she thought was the the "good" Sullivan brother even though bad boy Pax was really the one that caught her eye. Was she ever wrong! She left town after a huge scandal and hasn't been back. Now her father has been injured and needs her help so she's back and hoping to lay low until she can get out of town again. That's not meant to be though. With Pax working fixing up the B&B for her father there is no way to avoid him or the way he revs her body. Their attraction and chemistry is as explosive as ever but can they ever be together with the secrets and lies of the past still looming large?? This is a great story and should be on everyone's must read list.

    satisfying & enjoyable

After reading Falling Fast I knew I had to read Pax’s story. He was such a fantastic supporting character – full of strength & conviction and was such a supportive friend. You get a little of his history in the first book, but it isn’t a requirement that you have to have read it to enjoy Falling Hard. But it helps because you’ll have already started your crush on Pax and get that ahhh feeling when he finally gets his moment :) I wasn’t sure where Wainscott was going to go with Gemma’s story. We only got a little bit of it before so I wasn’t sure how it was going to play out but I was thrilled with what she did. The struggle that Gemma goes through, when no one believes her story, is heartbreaking. It’s a horrible thing to have happen but to have every think that she’s lying is just ... unbelievably awful. And to have to come back and face those people is so intimidating but she handles it with her head held high. Even though she’s had some therapy, rape is going to have a lot of long reaching impacts so I admire her grit as she works through it. Pax proves himself to be the wonderful man that returning readers knew he would be. He uses his head and logics though everything that he sees & knows, so that he starts to acknowledge the truth of what happened all of those years ago. But it is terrible how much he has to pay for it. He’s already being treated poorly by his family for some of his other decisions but he’s man enough to follow what he knows is right and not give in to others. Of course that's one of the reasons we love him so very much. Falling Hard isn’t an easy story to read, because of some of the bad things that happen to good people, but I think that makes it that much more worth the effort. As Pax & Gemma work their way to the truth, not only about their history but about their feelings today, readers are given a very satisfying and enjoyable read. Powerful wonderful story

This was a slow start for me but once it took off it took off and I couldn't put the book down. The author gives a powerful story of never giving up and always going for what you want. Life is to short you need to fight for what is important as Pax did he was a true man of honor even when he may lose his family he believed the fight was worth it and give his all. No means No, no matter when, where or what it is NO. The author gives a wonderful heart breaking story of misunderstanding, angry, one man taking something he shouldn't have, peer pressure along with family pressure. We all make bad choices that change our lives sometimes we can make them right but you can never outrun them. Gemma had to come home to face those choices she made years ago that set a whole town against her. As she faces them she must also face the one man that held her attention through it all the bad boy along with his brother who raped her. As the author said sometimes faith has a mind of her own. Pax is a stand up guy who is honorable he might have been the bad boy in school. He was just trying to fit in and find his way with a family he could never do anything right for. One day he gave up and did things his way. When Gemma returns to town he is taken back by the attraction they still have. He is pulled in two different directions and not sure which one is the right one. Once he puts all the pieces together he is in for a fight of his life to keep the women he loves, the sister he adores and to try to find peace with his family. It is up to him to set a wrong right which he will do if it is the last thing he does. In doing so he might lose the girl along with his family... For Gemma the hardest thing is facing ones mistakes and past. All the whispers, the name calling, the hate talk, it is hard but she will make a stand for her father. The hardest part is having to face her attacker knowing he got away with rape. She must find a way to deal with it, help her father and face the man who held her heart way back when and then get the heck out of there before more damage can be done to her. Gemma story is a very touching read, she must learn to trust, love and be held when it is the last things she wants. I found this to be a very powerful read with so many losers in the game of life. Gemma doesn't trust anyone, she has no friends, she doesn't fit anywhere. She doesn't believe in herself and like so many women before her dresses down in big bag clothes not to draw attention to her. The attraction is as strong as it was the day they met now both Gemma and Pax will have to fight it, or give in. The author gives you a story inside a story about his little sister and how they deal with her issues. A very wonderful girl who everyone but Pax doesn't want to let her grow up. I won't tell you more or it will give it away. This was really a very touching read in more than one way. It is a story that will stick with me long after I have put the book down. It is a story I will reread again. It is a wonderful story of second chances but is so much more. It is about bravery, taking a stand, getting your life back and fighting the fight of truth. It is truly a wonderful romance of starting over and overcoming your past. Ms. Wainscott tells a wonderful story that will break your heart and you keep hoping they take down one man and hopefully his father. There are many secretes that have been hidden over the years along with a few new ones. This is an author you will want to come to know who will pull you in and take you way. When you close this book you will leave with a smile on your face leaving characters you wish you knew better. I really enjoyed this story and I hope you will to.
