    Luck be a Lady

Satan didn’t plan on falling for Elle but she stole her way into his heart. A thing that he would have never of thought possible. Their last encounter was when they fought side by side to defeat Fate. Suspecting Elle was going to run afterwards, Satan pulls a fast one and gives Elle his soul instead of hers. He knows Elle will have to return to claim it and when she does Elle will not be escaping again. They belong to each other and together they will stay. In an unexpected turn of events Satan’s trickery may just be the one thing that saves Elle’s life. With the aid of his family and a few new friends Satan sets out on what could be a suicide mission to save the world and the woman he loves. Fashionably Forever After was wonderfully hilarious. It was also a little heartwarming. The reader definitely feels all the love this unconventional family has for each other. In this continuation of Satan’s story the reader gets more glimpses of the softer more sensitive side of Satan. No need to worry, he is still the same Satan that we know and love. The layers are just pulled back some and we get to see more facets and depth to his character. I really loved Fashionably Forever After and can not wait for Mrs. Peterman next book.

Sirens and Fairies and Boob Tubes, Oh My!

The fun continues in book 10 of the series. Satan is looking for his Siren and a movie deal. Which one (if either) will he find first? Time to catch up with our favorite True Immortals! It is really difficult to give a complete review without giving away the best parts! Our favorite cast of lunatics is back and better than ever. Astrid is still pining for her chips and extra hot salsa, and her black raspberry chip ice cream. Martha and Jane are still rocking the sequined boob tubes, and making Astrid regret turning them. The Kev still has absolutely no fashion sense, even when using his true form. Mother Nature still can’t cook edible food, and Lucifer is just himself, in all his office-supply-stealing glory. When we last left the Dark Lord, he had swapped souls with Elle. Now he’s got to find her, lay a smack down on Fate, and find out if he can actually (gasp) love. Can the devil actually have a happily ever after? Time to find out! I really want Robyn to adopt me. The level of crazy in her house must be off the charts!! I’ve liked all the books in this series, but this one is definitely toward the top of the ‘favorites’. Told from Satan’s point of view, we get to view things through his eyes. We get a little bit more of the backstory of his relationship with his brother God and his original fall from Heaven. It definitely is true that no man is an island – not even Satan. You need to read at least book 9 to understand what is going on, and I recommend reading the whole series so you know all of the players involved. Otherwise, Mother Nature on a stripper pole will not make any sense!

Laughing out loud funny and irreverent!

I love these books! Clever and humorously irevernt, yet written so it's completely relatable!

I cannot get enough of this series.

What is not to love about Satin finally getting his HEA. This book was a long time coming but totally worth the wait. Martha and Jane are just too funny and then through in Satin’s two nieces, his mom and her ‘intervention’. This book is a great comic relief after a long day at work. I was laughing out loud and HAD to read some of the scenes to my husband. What a great follow-up to Fashionably Flawed. I cannot get enough of this series.
