    Fast Burn

Finally! We have a heroine who is strong, independent, and definitely able to take on an alpha male and not be left behind. Sahara inherited Body Armor when her brother turned up missing and presumed dead and she has made several changes including adding MMA fighters as bodyguards and her latest conquest is Brand, though he has been resistant at every turn. This book starts out with Sahara being kidnapped by men who insist her brother owe them money and this is just the wake up call Brand needs. Does he want to join the agency? Not necessarily but he definitely is going to get Sahara back and that he does and once he has her back he is not letting her out of his grasp. Watching these two come together was inspiring and so much FUN. I could not turn the pages fast enough! This was the best way to end this series (even though I hate to see it end) but watching Brand and Sahara find their way was worth every single minute, every single gasp, every single page. I definitely recommend this one! **Received this ARC for review**

    Contemporary Romance

Fast Burn by Lori Foster Body Armor #4 The fourth and final book in the Body Armor series tells us the story of Sahara Silver and Brand Berry. Sahara runs the bodyguard/protection service after her brother who established the company disappeared – presumed dead. She wants Brand to leave MMA fighting to join her stable of handsome lethal sexy bodyguards. He is against the idea for reasons of his own. I assume the two have been flirting through previous books but not having read the any but this book I am not sure? Anyway, when Sahara is kidnapped by men who claim her brother owes them money she maintains her cool, for the most part, and waits to be rescued. She does not passively wait but does prepare as best she can to defend herself and/or escape on her own. There are fights, love scenes, kidnappings, multiple times people are saved from kidnappers, attacks, bad guys thwarted, scenes with characters from previous books and an eventual HEA for Sahara and Brand. I enjoyed the book but have to say that by breaking my rule of coming into a series at the end was probably unwise as I felt there were issues and people mentioned that I felt a bit clueless about. This book can be read as a standalone story but my guess is that it will have greater coherence and impact if the three previous books are read first. Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for the ARC – This is my honest review 3-4 Stars

Another great story for the series

I was so excited to read Sahara and Brands story and this book did not disappoint. I was a little confused when Sahara was kidnaped but I love how resourceful she was and how she didn’t wait for one of her employees or Brand to rescue her. I have always enjoyed Sahara in the other books and she was just as fabulous in this book. I was never sure if I liked Brand and I thought he was okay. I like how protective he is over Sahara and how he trusted her about her brother. Overall, I really liked this story and thought it was a great addition to the series. This book can be read as a stand-a-lone book but will be much better if read as part of the series.
