    Fate's Journey

It was Fate that brought Kate full circle. Fate brought her love. Fate brought her heartache. Fate brought her to the brick of death and despair. But fate also brought her strength. Fate is the fifth and last installment of the Trinity Series by Audrey Carlan and by far her best. In Fate we witness Kate's struggles with rebuilding her life after the devastating fire that not only left her body burned but her spirit and soul as well. Pushing away the ones she loved was her way for so long, so when she finally allows her body, soul and mind to heal, can she allow the one she let get away back into her life? Carson has never stopped loving Kate. Even when she pushed him away his love was undeniable. He stops at nothing to show and prove to her that how she sees herself is not how he sees her. Kate's external scars do not faze Carson, if anything he loves her even more. When fate brings them back together, a past mistake brings joy but also threatens Carson and Kate's future. Can Kate and Carson relationship survive Carson's secret? I fell in love with this series from the very first book Body. The love, respect, strength and friendship that Gigi, Bree, Maria, and Kate share is unconditional and inspiring. Audrey Carlan you completed this series with dignity and love. Thank you for sharing these amazing characters and their lives with us, they have become a part of my BODY, MIND, SOUL, LIFE & FATE.

    The final installment...a masterpiece...

Fate By: Audrey Carlan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review Audrey Carlan delivers the final installment of the Trinity Series, and it is nothing short of a masterpiece… Fate…a four letter word that some attribute to the bad in life, but most attribute to the wonderful, amazing, and earth-shattering perfection some of us are lucky enough to experience. Kathleen has spent the last three years fighting to get some semblance of her life back. After the fire that nearly took her life, Kathleen has drowned herself in the insecurities, guilt, and fear in her heart…pushing away all those that she loves the most…none more crushing than the night she shoved the love of her life out the door, for good. But, when they come face to face again, the fire that seared them both re-ignites into an inferno that can’t be denied…not this time. Finally at a place to give him another chance, Kathleen opens her door, her arms, and her heart to him one more time, this time she’s ready for forever. Carson never stopped loving her, and when Kathleen comes back into his life, he’s more than ready to whatever it takes to make her his wife. Having her back in his life brings an affirmation that neither of them can deny, but Fate can be a fickle bitch…she’s not ready to let them have their happily ever after yet…the question is, can Carson and Kathleen overcome the trials and tribulations barreling their way? Audrey Carlan has never let me down…ever. Her stories elicit a visceral response, conjuring images, emotions, and connections that stay with you for days afterwards. The story of Kathleen and Carson is no different. Ms. Carlan hooked me from the first paragraph, and pulled me with her through the entire book. This book has it all, loss, fear, pain, redemption, reconnection, danger, action, adventure, and above all else…all-consuming love and devotion. The plot and storyline were flawless, executed in such a way that kept you reading page after page. I couldn’t get enough. Ms. Carlan’s writing talent is unparalleled, and she has made me a lifetime fan! The characters are real, relatable, quirky, fun, and so incredibly sexy! They are sweet and loving, and oh so lovable! The connection between them all is palpable, and will bring you to the highest heights and the lowest lows. I am sad to see the Trinity series end, but can’t wait to see what Ms. Carlan brings us next! Kristie K

    AMAZING

Do you love second chance romance? Do you love novels with flawed characters that have to go on their paths of self discovery to learn how to love themselves? Do you love Audrey Carlan? Then one click Fate now! There aren’t words for how epic this book is, I couldn’t put it down! Kat thinks she’s broken. She’s at a point where she’s surviving, a day at a time, but she’s not really living. She’s existing. The trauma to her body and mind from the fire that nearly killed her weighs on her daily. I’m in awe of how Audrey Carlan conveys PTSD and depression in this book. She ticks off so many warning signs for these illnesses but in a subtle, eloquently written way with that personal touch that’s all Audrey. And it broke my heart completely. Seeing how much pain Kat has already lived through, and how much pain she still carries, made me wish I could take that pain away. That I could carry that burden for her because she’s one of those characters that you just love and want to care for. I adore the sibling relationship she has with Chase, I can’t describe how much it made my heart sing for them to have that closeness and support system. Then we have Carson. Three years ago he lost the best thing that ever happened to him. His soulmate may not have died in that fire but that doesn’t mean he didn’t lose her to it. My heart aches for all that Carson has lost in his life just as much as it aches for how Kat sees herself and her scars. I loved how Audrey portrays Carson, it seems like every rich, successful businessman in romance novels sleeps around constantly, (not judging and honestly have no issue with that, but) it is refreshing to meet a character that isn’t like that. Carson hasn’t been living like a monk, but he hasn’t been sleeping with anything that moves either. I think that shows the love he has for Kat and the grief he’s trapped in since she pushed him away. Then the way he is with his daughter Cora, made my heart so happy, as was the way Kat was with Cora. This sweet little family. Unfortunately there’s the crazy, deluded Misty (a.k.a. Cora’s mother) that just keeps being a drama llama and messing up the happy ending I crave for Carson and Kathleen and daaamn there are not words for how much I wanted to sucker punch Misty. While there is a slight Romantic Suspense aspect to this novel, mostly towards the end, it’s more a second chance romance with a twist. And there aren’t words for how much I recommend this book! While you could read this as a standalone, I will warn you there will be slight spoilers and it could confuse you slightly so it may be worth buying the whole series. Trust me you won’t regret following Kat and her soul sisters on another spellbinding journey.
