    FATE: Well worth the read!

After reading most of Hamilton's Ave Lee series I was really intrigued to learn more about Uncle. The story of Chow Tung checked all the boxes I love about the series - writing style is smooth yet exciting; the characters turned out to be more fully real than I had even hoped; and the plot thickened as the story unfolded ending in the mild street battle and Uncle's ascendency in the Triad. Can't wait to read Foresight and now just bought Mountain Master of Sha Tin to keep up with Ava!

    Fate

As always, Hamilton’s style prevents one from putting the book down. I have devoured every book in the Ava Lee series, and I expect to do the same with this series. My only disappointment is that I will have to wait until 2020 for the next instalment.

    FATE fills in some gaps

Fantastic read especially after eading most o the Ava Lee stories. FATE provided a super background into Uncle who alas is no longer with us. Thanks Ian once again.

Hamilton does not disappoint in this prequel

Hamilton is an engaging writer so it was with interest that I tried the prequel to the Ava Lee series. Not only was it very goof but I am thrilled to see that he intends to make this an independent series as well.

    Brilliant

Outstanding read and a very clever idea to prolong Mr. Hamilton’s great storytelling! Uncle and Ava are two great literary characters. Ian Fleming’s popularity picked up when President JFK said he liked the James Bond books. Perhaps someone equally as high profile will do the same for the other Ian...Hamilton. It certainly is deserved.
