    Judgemental Fatty Patty

Fatty Patty doesn't like fat people because she doesn't like herself. She's on a constant diet trying to trim down her chubby self, but in secret, breaks down and eats her favorite treats and loathes herself for her weakneww. She finds the man of her dreams, but he doesn't live up to her physical ideal so she calls him the "f" word and loses him and falls for the world's idea of perfection. Read this book and see how this works for her. Things don't always turn out how you plan and maybe that's a good thing!!! This was more than just a fluffy light hearted read. It had some thought provoking moments. I give it 2 thumbs up. I think everyone who has grown up constantly fighting the scale can relate to Patty and will find this a good read!

    Disappointed.

I really wanted to like this book. When I read the summary of it I thought it would be cute and funny. This doesn't seem to be the case at all. I only read up to chapter 7 because I got sick of listening to this character hold herself back from everything because she's "fat". The main character Patty is infuriating, not in the Sophie Kinsella Shopaholic was either... Patty is rude, childish, and clearly self loathing. I honestly thought this book would have a bigger girl as someone to lead girls into body acceptance and proper body image. All this book does is fat shame and make people question if these parts she points out about herself are really issue's that matter in life.
