    Great!

    Fearless by Carly Phillips was so good. I loved Kane and Halley love story. Years of not seeing each other since high school, they reunite. Kane is a mechanic and Halley is a painter. When Halley needs her car fixed, he comes to the rescue. Kane can’t get Halley out of his head and won’t let her go without a fight. There was so much going on in the book that kept you reading. Between Halley’s past and family issues and Kane’s family made this drama filled. Great secondary characters that added to the story. I can’t wait to read the next story about her sister Phoebe! I recommend this book!

    Hope

    Halley & Kane have a history. One that goes back to the school days and misery. He was once her protector. Now Halley has found that she is very attracted to him as a man. Kane remembers the sad Halley who had so much in common with him in their youth. He is surprised at how beautiful she has become. Even more, he finds himself wanting to spend more and more time with her. To just be near her. Such a sweet and slow burn. This story finds two people with similar family issues, just trying to keep it together. The heat between them gets pretty hot. ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

    Fearless

    ARC for honest review with no compensation, received thru Booksprout Fearless is book 1 in the new Rosewood Bay series by Carly Phillips and as always another well written book! It's takes you on a journey of two souls who are lost but for totally different reasons..when they meet Kane feels a connection to Halley and sets out to show her that life had color, hope and new beginnings but can these two find their ways together or will history repeat itself and keep the colors faded??;

    ***4 Stars***

    ***4 Stars*** Fearless kicks off a new series and I really enjoyed it. It was a fun, quick read that had just the right balance of humor, drama and smexyness to keep me turning the pages and intriguing characters that have me wanting the next book in the series right now! I really liked Kane. He keeps an eye on his sister, nephew and father and runs the family business aka he is extremely responsible. He has a good soul and when he see’s something worthwhile, he’ll do what needs to be done to get it. Past experiences have made him view certain things in a less than stellar light, but he does his best to not make a final decision on anything until he has all the information. Hayley. This woman. My heart bled for her and all that she had been through and yet, I really wanted to reach through my Kindle and shake some sense into her, or at least give her a not so gentle push in a direction where she could start to truly work through the demons of her past, because when she let go and forgot to keep people at arms length, she was a lot of fun and had so much to give others. Kane and Hayley’s journey was all kinds of sweet and swoon worthy. I loved how Kane slipped under Hayley’s defenses. It was definitely sneaky, but done in such a way that showed how well he saw her. They definitely had their smexy moments and I loved them together. A huge pothole does appear in their journey and I’ll just say I was Team Kane the entire time, but everything worked out well and I really like where they are at when the book ends. I really enjoyed Fearless and I finished it in no time flat. It was engaging and though there were some heavy issues brought up in it, they were handled very well. The supporting cast of characters were all well written and though I don’t have a clear favorite, I am definitely looking forward to Phoebe’s book, Breathe, and seeing how her own HEA plays out! ~ Copy provided via rslit & voluntarily reviewed ~
