  • Second chance goodness!

Secret baby? I’m there! A ‘just for now’ relationship, you bet I’m there! Realizing life might not be as it seems, and accepting that maturely and without extraneous drama, I am so there for that! And that was this story, these two adults who made choices when they were so young, and look back, and see it was for the best. Now, they want the best, and take steps to make that happen. Their growth, individually, and together, is nudged by friends and family, but they own it all, and it was wonderful to see and read about 😊

  • Loved it

Stacey Kennedy is a relatively new author to me. This is book two in the Three Chicks Brewery series and I was captivated by the story. Feisty Red is a second chance at love story that ticked the boxes for me.This was an entertaining, at times emotional read about Clara Carter and her ex Sullivan Kenne. Determined to move their brewery to the next level, Clara sets out to get Colorado’s biggest distributor on board. The only problem is that it turns out to be Sullivan, the man who left her years ago and broker her heart. Sullivan regrets many of the decisions he has made in his life, perhaps his biggest regret is walking away from Clara. Now years later he finds out that he is a father to a six year old son he knew nothing about. Can he become the man and father that they deserve or is he destined to fail again? Can he prove himself and in turn earn Clara’s trust and her love? Can these two broken souls come back together and become complete? There were times I laughed, times I teared up and times I swooned. I was on the edge of my seat hoping that the rocky journey they embarked on would bring them all to the happily ever after that they deserve.

  • Stacey Kennedy hit it out of the park!

Stacey Kennedy hit it out of the park with this second chance Romance! There's a reason for the term MAMMA BEAR and it's because we moms will do anything to protect our child and that is what Clara did seven years ago when she found out that she was pregnant with Mason after Sullivan left for Boston to pursue his major league baseball career, she kept Mason's father a secret from everyone. Sullivan couldn't get away from his hometown fast enough, living with an abusive father will do that to a person but what he has always regretted was leaving Clara behind without a word. When Sullivan is dealt a 30 day suspension he decides it's time to go home and make amends, now that his father has passed away he doesn't have to worry about running into him. What he didn't anticipate was finding out that Clara has a son, a son that looks a lot like him. I loved that Clara didn't just take Sullivan back, she made him work for it. Trust is hard to rebuild once its lost but Sullivan was ready to step up to the plate and show her just how sorry he was for the way things ended. I have been enjoying getting to know each of the three sisters that run Three Chicks Brewery, and I look forward to seeing what happens next. If you enjoy steamy cowboy romances this is a great series to dive into, each book can be read as a standalone so start from here or book one no matter which way you start I'm sure you'll be glad you did. Happy Reading!!! **I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**

  • Clara and Sullivan - learning to love again

4.5 stars This is the second book in the Three Chick Brewery and it can be read as a standalone. Clara and Sullivan were two crazy kids that fell in love when they were young but all was not roses. Sullivan had an abusive father which forced him to leave his hometown and Clara while he followed his passion for baseball. Clara never forgot Sullivan especially since he left her with a bundle of joy that had her shifting her priorities and making something out of her life for her son and her family’s brewery. Fast forward seven years and Sullivan is back home to face his demons and prove his worth. Will Sullivan be able to make amends? This is one intriguing second chance at romance read where readers will be pulled towards Clara and Sullivan as they work through their relationship concerns. One cannot help but give credit to the author for her beautiful depiction of handling Sullivan dealing with his past and the issues he needs to face to become whole and find the peace he is seeking. The book started out a little slow but the longer I read, the more ensnared I became. I look forward to reading the next book which will be the third sister, Amelia’s story, releasing in June 2021. I volunteered to read a copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

  • Feisty Red

ARC for honest review with no compensation Received from Social Butterfly Feisty Red is book 2 in the Three Chicks Brewery series by Stacey Kennedy, a new to me author and I certainly will be reading more of her books! Clara and Sullivan were high school sweethearts but Sullivan decided he needed to leave town to play professional ball. Now 7 yrs later he returns and knows that leaving Clara was not the right choice...but he also didn’t know she had his son! Clara the brains behind the brewery wants to get their top brew to the top distributor and who shows up but Sullivan...so not what she needs... Can these two find a way to move forward, get Foxy Diva distributed and become the family they should have been or will the past keep them apart?
