  • Fantastic

Fantastic story! This second book in the Boston Love series was simply wonderful. Finn Ward makes no apologies for his lifestyle. Hardworking firefighter, hard playing bachelor. No need to change as far as he could see. The fact that his new boss doesn't like his fun loving ways isn't his concern. Then he meets the lovely Rory Adams. She's a lawyer who represents the firefighters union. She's hardworking and doesn't have time for much of a personal life. Finn takes this as a challenge to get her to loosen up. One little problem. That new boss that already doesn't like him just happens to be Rory's father. Problems ahead - you bet!! This is really a well done story. Lots of humor, low angst, and great characters

Enjoyed the story line. Its often seen when parents influence their grown up kids. Love the little twist in the story.

  • Engrossing, Delightful Romantic Read!

Instant attraction. That's what occurred between fireman and known playboy, Finn and workaholic lawyer, Rory. Rory's always tried to please her parents by doing what they asked. Seeing Finn would be the 1st time Rory went against their wishes. What's a girl to do? Engrossing and delightful romantic fun read! Enjoyed Finn, Rory, their friends and family (except Rory's dad). And then there's Flash, the firehouse 4 month old untrained pup! Loved Flash, and his antics! Still am baffled by Captain Adam's and his final outlook. Would love to read Colton, Zeb and Captain Adams stories. Voluntarily read an ARC, thru Netgalley and publisher, for my honest review.

  • Love This Forbidden Love Story

I absolutely loved Fighting for Love the second book in the Boston Love series! Fighting for Love is a wonderful love story, filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions and I could not put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Kelly Elliott definitely did not disappoint her readers with all the feels in Fighting for Love and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about her books. She has once again provided her readers with the amazing characters, that I have come to love and expect in her books, they feel like family! Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? Kelly Elliott continues to deliver all that and so much more. One of my favorite parts of her books is how she incorporates the title of the book into the love story. I also loved all the amusing sub-titles for each chapter. I am not sure how she does it, but Kelly Elliott has once again given her readers another remarkable book. Fighting for Love is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in a Kelly Elliott love story, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Once again Kelly Elliott has proven that she is an incredible story teller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Fighting for Love is a love at first sight love story. My favorite moments in Fighting for Love are the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing out loud. I also love the parts that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Fighting for Love is filled with such moments and so much more. Fighting for Love is the story of Rory Adams, a lawyer and daughter of Finn’s boss and Finn Ward, a firefighter. Rory and Finn meet at a union meeting, where Finn has fallen asleep listening to Rory’s father speak. Rory and Finn unexpectedly run into each other in the park, but Rory has promised her father that she would not get involved with a firefighter. Rory and Finn begin spending time together, they become closer and things change between them. Finn has told his family about his relationship with Rory, but Rory does not tell her parents, since Rory already knows how he feels about Rory dating a firefighter, especially Finn. Another favorite part, was that I loved that Finn and Rory knew each other as children, even though neither one of them remembers it. When he was little, Finn told Rory’s dad, that one day he would marry his daughter. A heartbreaking plot twist changes things for Rory and Finn she runs away. I also loved, Flash the fire station dalmatian and his interactions with Finn and Rory. I love that no matter how destroyed Finn was with Rory, he did not stop fighting for Rory’s love. Fighting for Love was an amazing love story, I am so glad that the plot twist is resolved and that Rory and Finn got the happily ever after that neither one realized they were looking for. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story. I love the changes that Rory makes in her life so that she can be true to herself and not let her parents run her life. I love the changes that Finn was willing to make in his life, to have a life with Rory. My favorite part is the ending and how it goes above and beyond the happily ever after. I loved Finn’s proposal and the location where it took place. I love all her characters in this book, and I love the descriptions of the settings. I loved catching up with the Ward family, it felt like a gathering among close friends. I loved the ending and how Finn’s and Rory’s dreams come true. Fighting for Love is an incredibly written love story and I loved every moment. I was slightly disappointed that Wes and Angie did not get their own stories in the Boston Love series. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
