Am enjoyable read and I enjoyed the characters.

This was the first time I have read a book by this author and found it a very enjoyable read although I was able to put it down for periods of time and then had difficulty keeping the people straight. I also felt it ended rather abruptly. Having said that, I will probably order other books in the future by this author.

    Meh-just ok

Too easy, no suspense or challenge. Maybe the sort of book recommended as beach reading. Or for a book club.

    Firefly summer

A comfortable old friend kind of book laced with life's little lessons and warmth. Not life altering, just touching and sweet. Worth a read when one feels a little lonely and blue.

    Firefly Summer

A light easy read. The death of their brother has shaped all of the sisters lives as they deal, or not deal, with his death in different ways. The story spans their early childhood to growing old together. While definitely not a "page turner " or very deep, it does give a good perspective of family dynamics.
