    A captivating story!

I really enjoyed this book due to the sizzling chemistry of the characters and the suspense! I liked the characters and the whole storyline had me hooked! Skye hasn’t been back to Vermont in twelve years but since her half sister called wanting her to come for the weekend she had to go especially with 2 weeks unplanned holiday up her sleeve! Due to an unfortunate thing at work, which was rather funny! But how will Vermont and its people be after all these years? The last thing person she wants to see is the boy who stood her up at gradprom! And especially her step dad, hes a nasty piece of work! We learn some things about what happened years ago and you get the sense that she didn’t have a good upbringing.. Needless to say there are some unspoken words and feelings to be said but some truths come out in the end and I thought maybe theres hope for them! Is there a hea for Skye and Ben? Well read it for yourself, its an emotional story but also you come to learn who is really important in Skye’s life! This is definitely a story that will have your heart beating fast in more ways than one!

Ties Up Some Loose Ends From Previous Stories in The Series

I won't go into a whole description of the storyline, as I feel other reviews cover that nicely and don't want to be repetive. I will say that Benito and Skylar's story is one of first love rekindled with a bit of a history lesson on early life in the town of Colebury with the Shipley and Rossi families. The flashback chapters bring certain storylines full circle. Benito has to be one of the most patient men ever as Skylar's naivete and discomfort with intimacy becomes a bit tiresome. Having lived in NYC in the cut throat world of journalism, I just don't buy that aspect of her character. I get emotional scars from her creepy step father, Jimmy Gage, but I would have liked to have seen her be a bit tougher and more grown up. You have to be to survive the big city. I did however, truly feel the love between these two characters. Truly a sweet love story. I also liked seeing that Zara became more likable as she has been one of my least favorite characters in this series.

    Fire works

Not sure exactly what this was all about. The story was choppy and unclear if it was just about sex

    Loved this book and Benito

Once I was really pulled into the story I could not put it down. I loved it and it was just an enjoyable read. As usual, this author brings good writing and wonderful characters with just the right amount of humor injected. Benito was hot and seeet and I absolutely loved him!! I was a little thrown off by the narrative quality of the flashback chapters at first, but I got used to it and it didn’t bother me later. Overall, great book and wonderful addition to the series.
