    4.8/5

If you suffer from Aviophobia then this probably isn't a book for you. Flight or Fright is an anthology of the most toe curling, nightmare inducing horror stories from the high skies written in the last century. Almost every story compiled between the buttery smooth covers, gave me the chills! Each story plays off a different fear or phobia so it's bound to make just about anybody squirm. It's creepy enough thinking about cursed objects, zombie plagues and a nuclear holocaust but can you just imagine any of those while you're trapped on a plane at 30,000ft.. No thanks. At this point you're just along for the ride. Sealed in an aluminum coffin with 100 other passengers. What would you do if you knew you were going to die? I experienced the gut wrenching feeling of falling several times reading this book. Sometimes it takes a really dark soul to write a bone chilling tale so scary you feel the terror oozing from each page. Paranoia, depression, loneliness... PTSD, monsters and hauntings. These writers bring out the best of all my worst feelings. Stephen King and Bev Vincent did an excellent job amassing these 17 turbulent tales of terror in the skies. Who knew airplanes could get anymore paralyzing.

    Flight or Fright

Flight or Fright is a re-release of "mostly previously published stories". Apparently the idea for the book was Stephen King's (who has writings inside) and accumulated by Bev Vincent. I am not a huge fan of short stories, but there are several good ones in this book. I was given an early copy of the June 4th release for a review.

Not as scarey as I thought

As in any anthology you like some stories better than others. It made me think and introduced me to a couple of authors I wsnt to look into. Glad I read it¡

    Overall good Anthology

Flight or Fright is an anthology of stories regarding air travel which is edited by Stephen King and Bev Vincent. First, let me thank Edelweiss, the publisher Simon & Schuster (Scribner), and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. This is a collection of 16 short stories (and a poem), all centered around Stephen King’s hatred of flying. Although the authors of the stories differ, each has an introduction by King. Overall I ended up really enjoying more than half the stories, which is often the case in anthologies. I take the good with the bad, and always find a new author somewhere in the mix.
