    Follow the Drum (The Red Fort)

    Leasors usual high standard for detail. Not a 'Happy Book' but tells how it was. You can feel the heat, the humidity, and the noise. Probably for most of us we can only guess at the sight and smell of the scenarios depicted. A comment too on the structure of English society at the time and some of the prevailing ideas regards The Empire and the people making up that body of power & influence.
