    Fool Moon

The plot line is overly complex with too many characters and the introduction of supernatural behaviors. Butchers writing style is quite readable and descriptions vivid only doesn’t allow the reader to have empathy and interest for another read.

    Dresden is worth the time

In the words of someone in some movie, "don't you ever die?!" It makes for a bad first-person book, of course, and this is NOT a bad book. A lot happens in a short amount of time, and much of it is pretty hard to believe, but if you're looking for a book that seems plausible, stay away from the Dresden Files! What is best about Harry Dresden is he's too likable to hold a grudge against him for telling you his unvarnished, honest-even-when-it-makes-him-seem-ugly, and really funny story. It's easy to get caught up in the tale and just enjoy the ride. Can't wait to start the next one!

    Another hit for Harry Dresden.

I haven't had a series in quite awhile that gets me caught up as quickly as this one. Fool moon is another one that hooked my interest and kept it until the very end.

Mystery full of suspense and adventure!

Fool Moon is book two in The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. We are taken on another mystery, full of suspense and adventure. Harry is one of the good guys. But he struggles and he’s flawed. He isn’t perfect. I like him and I like how hard he tries to protect everyone around him. As for the women in Harry’s life I’m not a fan of either at this point. I don't care for reporters. I just don't like them, but Susan came through and helped Harry out. Though I feel she's with him just to get a story. Murphy the detective she was mistrustful, impulsive, and violent in this installment. She was not very nice and put Harry in a situation that made things worse, instead of letting him explain. The werewolf lore was very interesting, especially the twist at the very end. The teaser about Harry’s mother was a tease for Harry and the readers. I’m excited to see what more Harry and us will learn about himself, his parents, and his past. Fool Moon was another great read in The Dresden Files series. I loved the mystery and the surprises we get. It’s not straightforward and the developments will surprise you. Rated: 4 Stars

If you like mystery and fantasy, this is the perfect book for you. While not as exciting as upcoming books in the series, it lays a solid foundation for what is to come (and there's lots). The story is easy to get lost in and difficult to put down. This book had me laughing out loud and dying to know what might come next. I would recommend this book, and series, to anyone.
