    Great Writing And Story!

Lara Adrian's For 100 Days is a case in point in how good writing defies genre classification. Populated with her signature alpha males and equally strong women Ms. Adrian takes her considerable writing expertise and puts it to the test in a contemporary erotic suspense setting. A hero and heroine whose intense and barely controlled attraction test their trust and blur their firm boundaries on every possible level feature in this novel. Sensuality in abundance and quick paced story development will draw readers in and adds another incredible read to Lara Adrian's extensive and renown collection of work. *I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.* *While this book can be read as a stand alone this work is a continuation of an ongoing story line.*

Nothing like this author's previous writing.

Having been an avid fan of Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed, I was excited at the thought of something new and erotic from this exceptionally talented author. However with that said, this is very much a mixed review for a number of reasons. 1) I seriously struggle with stories written totally in the first person;   2) I’m not a fan of the latest trend of three book series focusing on one couple;   3) Cliff-hangers are the absolute pits!   While the subject matter was good, even if not necessarily very original; two tortured souls with emotional and physical scars, and hiding secret pasts that cause them both to build walls to protect their hearts. The book was too long and drawn out for my taste, when I knew it was only going to leave me with more questions than answers in the end.   Will I read the next book? Undoubtedly.   Why? Because that’s the whole pretext of this type of trilogy; suck the reader in.

For 100 Days by Lara Adrian

For 100 Days by Lara Adrian The first of an erotic trilogy. Written in present tense. He is high powered and won't say much. I found him needy and arrogant. He likes control. For her: intense, white-hot passion that's all consuming. But lots of things she hasn't told him. A rather abrupt ending. A tease on the next book in the trilogy. Not a cliffhanger but definitely not the end the the story. Why make it three? Why not make it just one book? A trend I've never understood. Certainly I'd love to get an offer to house sit at a really posh address.

    Give it a try

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review. This was a great contemporary romance. I loved the characters and the story pulled me in from the first page. I couldn't put it down until I finished this story about Dominic (Nick) and Avery. I suggest you give it a try.
