    Great book 2

First books are difficult to write sometimes especially if they are a series. Book 1 is usually the world building and story and characters and paves the way to other books and characters. Sometimes book 1's arent as good as book 2's and this seems to be the case here. I run into it a lot and its not necessarily a bad thing. Its very common. We also have 2 different writers and you can tell. I can't always but their style is different. I was very excited to read Damian's and Payton's story. If you ever read before or after the books sometimes authors will write things to explain a thing or 2. Initially book 2 was supposed to be Sawyer and Kenzie but Damian and Payton said no. :) They wanted their story and I think it worked out well that way. Damian had a lot to accomplish and his battle was so very uphill. He's been smitten with Payton ever since he saw her. He interfered in his Father's plans and saves her getting himself injured in the process along with Peyton. Peyton doesnt know what it is about this wolf but she trusts him and is drawn to him. Her heat hits her hard and well Damian although a little reluctant helps her through it. Its not that he doesnt want her he totally does it just doesnt feel right when she doesnt know his Father is responsible for her kidnapping attempt. I found Damian to be sexy and sweet and a total gentleman all at once. There were some instances he kinda messed up but it was understandable. We welcome back all the characters in book 1 and I honestly like how these 2 ladies write. Multiple POVs but this time around it was easier to know who was speaking. Sawyer and Kenzie just make me smile and I cant wait to read them. Enjoyable book.

I totally loved this book. The chemistry between Payton and Damien was hot. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Well this book is as good as the last one. It brings in new charaters and makes you wonder what will happen next. Sexy shifters and vamps. But along with the good comes the bad. I recommend you read the first book Forbidden Blood. As it sets you up for this book... love this author work.... again couldnt put this book down... i read it non stop. Now off to read the next book... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
