    Just a taste...

I'm fine with the concept of novellas, but this one left a lot to be desired. As an avid fan of this series, I will soldier on and wait for Ian's full story ... again. :-)

Forever in Darkness - Book 4 - Order of the Blade

I just finished reading this novella October 18, 2017. This is my review. This book is actually a short novella starring the characters of Ian and Alice. It's basically a small teaser, a sneak peak, as to how Ian and Alice meet and the troubles their relationship is going to have in the future. You can read this novella as a stand alone because none of the characters from the series are in it and Ian's history is explained very succinctly. I usually give a review of the story line but this novella is short and I'd basically be telling you the whole story. But the basics are: Ian is a Calydon warrior that's buried his sheva (destined mate)...twice. But when he meets Alice, he knows she's his mate as well. What ensues is a story with teasers and hinting that Alice may or may not be Ian's mate, Alice is a strange and mysterious character with many secrets and there's a cliffhanger ending to their story. It's a great set up for their full book "Darkness Arisen" (Book 6). I really enjoyed it.
