Interesting read, if you're into secret societies

There's a few interesting and entwining stories in this book, but most of the story tells about real or made up "facts" concerning a huge amount of conspiracy theories. Put on your tin foil hat and read about Templars, The Golden Bough, Freemasonry, Cabbalism, numberology, the Cult of Cthulu, and more. Eco has outdone himself this time on his (always excellent) research, but if you're not in these kind of topics, I wouldn't bother.

Drove me insane....In a good way.

I read this several years ago but remember it very well. It started out as a regular mystery novel but quickly grew very convoluted. It kept a very high suspense level throughout. It's what happened after I read the book that stands out in my mind. For a week, at least, I could almost see connections and conspiracies everywhere. You'll enjoy it if you like complex problems and conspiracy novels.
