    100% recommendation!!!!!!!!!!

Sydney Landon does not disappoint with her follow-up book to Lucian & Lia's story started in Pieced.....Fractured picks up right where book one left off at....some passages that gave me chills: "I have no idea why everyone suddenly feels the need to warn me, put a label on my relationship with her, or compare her to Cassie, but I'm sick of it. I'm no leaving her alone, and I'll destroy anyone who attempts to harm her." "Lia needs and deserves someone strong, and I'll be that person...I'll be anything for her". "Please don't leave me, Luc....."Oh, Lia, I'm not going anywhere." Lee Jacks: "Anyone who has ever hurt her will pay; I can promise you that." "I'm in no way worthy of you, but I lay my heart at your feet because you own me, baby." In this book we see a little more into Lucian's past and how it has shaped who he is today, and it is not all roses. With these insights to his past, one side that he has kept from Lia comes out, yet it does not rip them apart. Even though he knows what has happened to Lia, seems to have shined a light on what his feelings for her are, yet he still fights to express them to her; and those around him see and question it. You know from book one that Lucian & Lia are flawed yet he cannot turn away from her, if anything it seems like those flaws draw them to each other, for better or worse. Even though this books focus is on what has happened to Lia, the side stories are just as interesting, i.e. her father's identity, her F'd up "mother"........I love Rose (NRA Martha Stewart, cardigan sweater wearing firecracker), Lia's BFF that you would not want to cross!!!! By the end of Fractured I was just as excited about Lucian & Lia's next book as I was about finding out that we would be getting Max & Rose's story in 2015!!! This series is a must!!!! You will not be disappointed by Sydney Landon's gift of making you feel what her characters are going through; everything, she gives you the good, bad, ugly, and even cringe worthy scenes.... you feel invested from start to finish.

    It's ok.

The book was ok. I am not sure why authors always see the need for trilogies. I struggled to get through the middle of the book. Just when it's getting good it ends. The middle of the book was deathly boring and just filled with sex. It was the same with the first one. I bouhht the 2nd in the hopes it would not follow the same pattern. If I do purchase the 3rd it probably will be after a I have read everything else.
