    Frankenstein's creature

Undoubtedly the raTTest horror story, well novel, I've had the pleasure to read. Edgar A. Poe's, "Pit and the pendulum", is the creepiest horror story. Poe's, "Maelstrom", would-be a truly terrifying experience, albeit. Mary Shelley's a talented writer, of course.

    True horror classic

I last read this at school and didn't really appreciate the brilliance. Highly recommended

    Revolutionary

The first Sci-fi novel is a staggering achievement of originality. Shelley's portrayal of the events in her story are beautiful and she creates a brilliantly ambiguous moral story whose characters feel real and understandable

    Book snake

Some of the greatest passages revolving around the blackness of mankind. Simply terrific story.

    Slower paced than expected

Honestly...I was disappointed. While the writing is beautiful, and its a literary classic of course, it was not what I was expecting. Hollywood had me expecting something much different.
