    Freed

We finally get to meet the third sister, Juliette, who was raised by her father and who Halley and Phoebe have wanted to find. Well, she finds them, or at least her father found them and she discovered he knew about them all along. Betrayed and done being manipulated by her father she sets out for Rosewood Bay to find her sisters and her independence. Her father, in his overbearing way, hires a private investigator to keep track of her but little did he know it would backfire. Braden Clark falls and he falls hard for Juliette. He knows it is wrong but there are other forces in his life and even though he tries not to he cannot help it. These two were made for each other and even though they met under suspicious circumstances (even though Juliette didn't know at first) they form a bond that cannot be broken. This one can be read as a standalone but really why would you want to. This series is great and I am looking forward to Andi's story! **Received this ARC for review**

    Great!

Freed is the third book in the Rosewood Bay series. The book was about the long lost sister to Phoebe and Halley Ward. Juliette Ward was raised in a shelter lifestyle with her father, who was so protective over her. After uncovering a huge secret her dad kept from her she went on her own to discover herself. In the meanwhile her dad hired a PI, Braden Clark to watch her every move. After getting to know each other, what will happen when Juliette finds out the truth? This was a great read and really enjoyed finally reading what happened to the third Ward sister. Can’t wait to read Andi’s story!

    Freed by Carly Phillips

Waited and waited for this book to come out and I wasn't disappointed. Terrific story line, believable characters and fantastic writing. Now I'm back to waiting and waiting again for DREAM. Carly, I'm not getting any younger!

    Freed

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from Booksprout Freed is book 3 in he Rosewood Bay series by Carly Phillips and like the other books in this series it is a standalone, well written and intertwined with the other books... This book is about Juliette Collins who is also the third Ward sister, but she doesn't know that as she was told her mother died early on and was raised by her over protective, wealthy, controlling father. She wants to give her father a special birthday gift so she goes searching and finds a file about her other sisters and her mother and confronts her father and tells him she is going to see them. Her father hires a bodyguard to protect her while she looks up her sisters, but she discovers a life she never knew she was missing. Braden Clark has a personal protection agency and thinks he is just watching over a wealthy city girl who wants to get away but little does he know that his life is about to change too....mixing business with pleasure and lying about who he really is. Secrets, lies, angst, friendships, chemistry, healing, finding love and a HEA!!

    ***4.5 Stars***

***4.5 Stars*** I must say that I really enjoy Freed. It was a quick, fun read that was surprisingly low on drama, considering all that I had expected to happen in it. I know I should never assume anything, but a long lost sister popping up and the guy you’re “seeing” is actually a “babysitter” hired by your over-protective father? You cannot tell me that you wouldn’t expect the angst to be coming out to play, but it didn’t really and I thoroughly enjoy it. I loved Juliette. I really did. Despite being sheltered her entire life and never wanting for anything, she was far from being a rich, society brat. She was kind, compassionate and determined. Part of why I liked her so much was how she went about going to look for her sisters. She didn’t just go in guns blazing. It was more of a series of cautious leaps of faith that were practical while helping her break out of the cage she’d been in. Braden was a really good man, and I don’t say this because there isn’t anything else to say about the man. He really was a good, solid human being. Family came first for him and though he had a lot weighing on his shoulders, he did his best to take it stride and not take it out on others. When he could get a minute to breath, he was funny, charming and smexy. Juliette and Braden’s journey was a fun one, even with the whole ‘your dad hired me to watch you’ thing in the mix. It was sweet, smexy and there was a flow to their interactions from the start that I really liked. Things move relatively quickly, but it all just worked for me. The smexy was hot and they just got each other. When the truth comes out about Braden, I was pleasantly surprised with the path it took and am happy with how it all worked out in the end for them. I got sucked in to this one from the start and simply enjoyed everything from Juliette & Braden’s romance to Juliette reuniting with her sisters and how all of the other things going on in this book worked out, especially the fact that Andi will be getting her own HEA. So, bring on Dream! ~ Copy provided via the author/RockStarLit PR & voluntarily reviewed ~
