I have read the entire series. This book is still a great read. It's not my favourite but still worth the read.

    Loved this book!!!

**Received ARC from Booksprout for a fair and honest review** Freeing the Prisoner is the 20th book in the Brides of the Kindred series. This book could be read as a standalone, the author does a great job of giving you the information you need so you don't feel like you're missing anything. This book was hard to put down, was a crazy rollercoaster that you don't want off of when it ends. Though this is the 20th book in the series, don't think that this will be more of the same that you've already read. Evangeline Anderson really is creative and has a lot of fresh great ideas and this book is no exception. Commander Ky, a touch kindred was sent to investigate the Hives planet. While on his way there traveling through the blind he got off course and was captured by the Goshan's and locked in a cell as a prisoner. The ruler's daughter, Princess Danella/Dani is very curious when she see's the big Kindred being brought in. Unbeknownst to anyone the Princess knows her way around the secret tunnels and has access that she shouldn't. When everybody is tied up with other business, she sneaks into his cell and talks to him. After their talk the Princess has a new take on things, especially from how Goshan Prime is. I really enjoyed the characters, the author gives amazing details about everything so you really can visualize it well, but doesn't go overboard where it ruins the story. Ky is a Kindred, he's an alpha male, but again not overboard. Dani is a strong woman, she doesn't roll over and just take whats given to her, she stands up for what she believes is right even knowing that she may get in trouble or punished. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the characters. If I had to try and be picky and come up with a complaint, the only thing I could think of would be I wanted more information about them at the end. There is an epilogue, but it's more of a what's soon to come. Overall I really enjoyed this book. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!

Interesting Kindred story – greater focus on the h

We meet Dani, who is a princess, but on a planet where females have no rights. They are not to give opinions, and are frequently punished by their husbands. Commander Kryon is a touch Kindred, who is captured on Dani’s planet. Caged with no food or water; Dani brings some support to him by traveling through secret passages. When Dani points out some errors in logic of those in power, she and her sister are set up in arranged and possibly deadly marriages. Dani would rather risk the unknown alien captive than the known evils facing her. Thus begins a fight for their lives, and a tense, entertaining read!! **I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**

an exceptional addition to this series

Another fantastic addition to the Kindred Brides series. No story is the same, other than the intensity throughout each story. The Kindred's loyalty is magnificent in itself, but the situations the warriors find themselves in reminds us they are fierce protectors as well. This story is no different. Dani and Ky meet in an unlikely manor, but the love they share is unflappable. Dani falls for Ky so slowly that she doesn't even realize it, but he loves her with a fierceness only the Kindred has. When things go badly for them both, he's determined to do all he can to save her and her sister. No matter the cost, even if it means losing her. I cannot wait to see what's happening next, this has to be an all time favorite series for me. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
