    Thanks for your feedback!

    A comfortable read.

I really enjoyed this book, (though there are some formatting issues near the end where whole paragraphs are in italics when they should not be). There's no romance, but there are good friendships which is a nice change. The story progresses at a pretty steady pace, interspersed with some action but not nearly as much as other Elemental Masters books. Overall, a comfortable read and a very pleasant retelling of Rapunzel. There are multiple mentions of rape though not acted out to graphic completion for which I am grateful. The parts involving Native Americans seemed to be handled with respect though they are called Indians. The "G" word for Rromani is used, but not as a slur.

    Always a delight

I love her elemental masters series. Mercedes Lackey never disappoints. I finish one and I'm already wanting the next book.

    from a high tower

Mercedes Lackey older books ( Valdemar the older tales of the 500 kingdoms are excellent and worth a read. Her newer books are difficult to get into and.....boring. I don't recommend this book
