  • Frost by Michelle Pillow

Frost wanted a lot of things, to escape his barren ice-covered planet, find a wife, and take his brothers with him. One didn't want to go. The other would do whatever the oldest did. Pre-paying for the "vacation" did the trick and they headed for earth and compatible females. Not blue but compatible. Too bad for Frost the cure for their skin color blending in didn't work on him. He found a way to fit in--kinda. Meg chose to give up her reporter job in the big city to help her very ill father. Stories around here were hard to find. When she heard rumors of strange things she had to investigate. What she found sticking up out of the snow was the beginning of a dangerous adventure? Maybe she needed to check her thesaurus. A blue man, a normal woman hanging out with one who said he was the blue man's brother and ran around naked. That was just the beginning. AND SHE WAS ATTRACTED TO THE ONE SHE FOUND IN THE SNOW! Their story was almost believable. What else could it be? She was almost convinced when the danger hit. Will they live long enough to figure out what they are feeling? Long enough for Meg to determine if she could be with the man so different and if so how would he or she assimilate into the other's society? There are hilarious translation issues. Personality quirks that are funny as well--as long as you aren't the one involved. The author has given us another fun read to ease the reality of life. Loved it. Can't wait for the next one.

  • Frost Bite.....

Frost really wants to go back home to Sintac, he is allergic to the baby aspirins that will turn his skin the color of humans so he can blend in. So what is he to do on earth if he can't even blend in, he certainly won't be able to get a wife? He will never leave his brothers though, it was his idea to come to earth anyway. The only way he finds to keep his mind occupied is to play an earth game he learned...Ice Hockey, although this may land him in the public eye. Meg always wanted to be a journalist and it's her driving force, she is known to be relentless when it comes to a story and boy does she ever discover one! Will Meg's journalistic mind be Frost and his brothers downfall, or will Frost send some good vibrations her way.

  • Will Meg use Frost to save her paper?

Izotz (Ice Storm) and his wife Elle are hiding out in deepest, darkest Minnesota with ice's brothers. Elle's parents may have accepted them but they know they have to fly under the radar to avoid Elle's former employers. But Edur (Frost) has a severe case of cabin fever. He has been playing with the local hockey team, who think his blue colouring is just a weird gimmick. he hates the fact he can't blend in as well as his brothers due to his allergic reaction to baby aspirin! Meg Taylor came back from New York to care for her ailing father, but now that he has a burgeoning romance with a local lady, she is a bit frustrated. Her little newspaper isn't exactly a hot bed of news. But when she catches a glimpse of a blue guy playing hockey her reporter instincts kick in and she is on the prowl for the mysterious strangers story. But when she finally uncovers Frost's story, she finds she is reluctant to use him as she set out to. She is swept up into their adventure and even helps to distract the bad guys! Great read!

  • Brides for the taking? Apparently not!

Frost talked his brothers into leaving Sintaz with the Alien Galaxy Brides Agency to go to earth to find brides. Unfortunately for him nothing has gone like he thought it would. His brother Ice was captured and tortured by the Milano Foundation. Fortunately his wife Elle saved him and they are hiding out in Minnesota at her parents farm. Frost joins a hockey team in the small town because he is lonely and trying to assimilate. He told them he painted his face blue for the team. Unfortunately a newspaper article about the blue hockey player catches the attention of a reporter in town and she goes to interview him. When he runs, she follows him and trips and falls knocking herself unconscious. Frost panics and runs back to the house with her. He also hears someone else in the woods. Seems the Milano Foundation also saw the article and came to capture them all. Frost takes Meg and calls the spaceship to pick them all up, only his brothers and Elle never show up. Frost is very attracted to Meg and the feeling is mutual, but he must save his family. Meg was frightened at first but being the curious journalist she is, she wants to help. But first they must find and rescue the others. Can they find and rescue them in time? How will the brothers and their wives ever be safe on earth? I love this series. The guys are so cute and clueless! Can’t wait for Snow to find his earth bride! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
