Great Read! She did it again. Loved this book

I just finished reading C.A. Newsome's "Fur Boys" and I really enjoyed it. Her "Dog Park Mysteries" are both very interesting and entertaining books, and will keep you guessing until the end. They all have everything I enjoy in a book--mystery, lots of dogs, and great characters. They can be read as stand-alone books, but the entire series is well worth the read. She writes in such a way that you feel that you are part of the dog park group and that the characters are also your friends.

    Fur Boys

For the dogs alone 5/5. A good twist coupled with a hearty soup recipe guaranteed to knock a cold in the teeth before it gets a grip on you.

5 stars Brilliant, First Class read

Fur Boys C A Newsome Having enjoyed all of the previous 5 books in the Lia Anderson Dog Park Mysteries Series, I was looking forward with eager anticipation to reading Fur Boys. I was not disappointed with the gripping opening that sets the pace for a cracking story. Lia and her friends go to see a concert but discover that a murder has taken place in the Norman Chapel. With no shortage of suspects, Lia and her dog walker friends are soon on the trail. All the characters are realistic and believable. The easy writing style draws you into the story and makes you feel part of the gang. I could practically smell the paint in Lia’s house. In Fur Boys we get to see Lia and Peter’s relationship grow stronger. We also discover more about Cynth and Brent. I especially enjoyed the ending, though it would be unfair to say why. Totally enjoyable book, which I thoroughly recommend. No hesitation in giving this book 5 stars.
