  • Gannon

Ten years ago, Melody Austin, aka Mel, and her high school graduating class had gone through a trauma resulting in her pushing everyone away. Everyone, that is, except her brother Daniel and his three children. As it happened, Daniel and Mel were working with Lucian and Demi in the construction of a new school's design and security. Everything had been done remotely until it came to a point they were all to meet. While Daniel and the kids flew to Ohio, Mel was going to stay home for a few days to finish her part of the project. There are so many twists and turns in this book. The plot continues to thicken throughout with several 'sweet bejeebers' moments that I didn't see coming. Gannon and Mel go through so much heartache before they're finally able to reach their happily ever after but thankfully, Kathi S. Barton created such a journey that it made it impossible to put down.

    Thanks for your feedback!
