Acion packed passion filled can't put down book

Ms. Harber gives one outstanding read with almost 200 5 star reviews on Garrison’s Creed I would have to agree with them. This book has it all hot love, spies, lost love, new beginning, broken hearts, healing, family, love, passion, thrills, action packed, mystery you name it this author does deliver. All the reviewers say to read Sweet Girl first for the beginning and background of Nicola and Cash which I haven’t read but man do I plan on. This is one hot read that burns up the pages. I would say I am hooked on this author and this series. This book starts out with a bang which the author carries all through each page. Ms. Harber gives a compelling touching story of A SPY RUNNING FOR HER LIFE AND THE MAN SHE COULD NEVER SEE AGAIN BATTLE BETRAYAL TO SAVE THEMSELVES. I could not have said it better than how this author did with the above description. You have an agent running for her life as she runs into the one man that said his goodbyes as he placed her in the ground at her funeral years ago. He couldn’t believe his eyes as he looks through his sites to kill the man she is with. His eyes must be playing tricks on him it couldn’t be her she is dead, his first love, his only love and his last love. She sure was surprised when she ran out to get away and runs into her love that she had to leave years ago with no goodbye. Man she has some explaining to do but will Cash let her get a word out? He is so mad you could light a fuse under him and he wouldn’t know it. This all happens in the beginning of the book just think about what this author has in store for you as she takes you through spies trying to take you out, gun running, bombs, along with finding a new beginning as you learn to fight the love you have for each other. There sure is some hot stuff going on in this passion filled book. This is a book I could not put down as the author takes you on a ride that will have you guessing to what end is up or down as Chase and Nicola dance around their feelings coming to blows with him trying to protect her and her standing up and showing him who is boss. It’s anyone’s guess which one will come out on top in this tug-a-war of the heart. The author gives a wonderful plot which will keep you on the edge as you race to turn the pages to see what these two and the other ops get into. There are some splitting hair scenes that you will wonder what the outcome is. The word flow is outstanding as the author takes you on an action pack read that will get your blood pumping and your motor running. You can feel the pain, sorrow, joy and hurt of these wonderful characters as well as the supporting characters. Each has a story to tell which the author does in an amazing way. There is no wonder why this author is a bestseller she sure stole my heart with this soul touching read as she throws in a little humor to keep you smiling and chuckling throughout this wonderful book. Cristin Harber I fell in love with your writing style as you spun this outstanding tale of the one who got away only to return to flip a few worlds upside down and all around

    Fun & action-packed

Cash Garrison's world comes to a screeching stop when through the sight of a sniper rifle, he sees the girl he fell in love with in college, the girl he planned to marry, the girl who died before he could give her the ring. It's been ten years, but his heart remembers her clearly, and he doesn't know why she's on the arm of a wanted arms dealer, but he can't let her get away again. Not without answers. Not without another chance. The Verdict: So this kind of book isn't my usual cup of tea, but after reading Sweet Girl, I had to find out what happened next. Cash and Roman, best friends from college, have been through hell together, but they've made lives for themselves as soldiers/agents in a black ops team. They've never gotten over the death of Roman's little sister and Cash's true love Nicola, but they're getting by. So when Cash spots Nicola with a target, he mind is blown. Coming across her armed and injured a short while later has his head spinning and his heart breaking all over again. Nicola agreed to witness protection after innocently stumbling into a huge organized crime mess. It was the only way to prevent the mobsters who knew her face and name from going after her and everyone she loved, and her heart's been broken ever since. But over the years she's put her smarts to work, finding her place in the CIA as an undercover operative. It's on one of those assignments that she comes face to face with her brother and her college boyfriend after all these years. Cash's confusion and pain jumped right off the page, and while I knew they'd eventually work things out, I wasn't so sure how quickly he could reconcile the covert agent with the girl he fell in love with when life was so much simpler. His heart won out, of course, since even with all that anger and angst, he couldn't turn his back on a second chance with Nicola. I was honestly worried she had changed too much and wouldn't be as willing to strike things up again, but it seems she was still just as smitten as he was. There was a whole double-agent bit and plenty of nail-biting tension, but after reading Sweet Girl, I was much more interested in getting some closure for one of my favorite couples. Cash was a harder version of the guy he was in college, still funny and wearing his heart on his sleeve while essentially having to apologize for his playboy ways. Nicola, however, was quite a bit different, no longer the innocent and naive coed, and while I could appreciate the woman she became, I did miss the girl I met in the previous book. I suppose if I'd read these books in the opposite order, my reaction would be a bit different. I imagine I would have thoroughly enjoyed this one and then loved the look at the simpler relationship they had in college. But since I stumbled into this series rather obliviously, I found myself wishing for the love they had first, before all the guns and double agents and mysteries. Still, Garrison's Creed was a fun read, filled with action and some very hot rekindling of their old romance.

Much the same as #1, just different characters. Still a good read.
