    Ridicule the Dictator

I was not expecting a book about the criticism of organized religion turned out to be that elegantly written and ingeniously fun to read. Such a witty remark like implying that "the first three commandments" are a "prolonged throat clearing" is just one of the many gorgeous and rightful sarcasms of the type which you can probably find only in this precious book.

    Review

An excellent book, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Much better than Richard Dawkins I felt. Hitchens raises some powerful points while taking the consideration to write in a simple, understandable language for his readers. I appreciated also how he carries his argument across without being overly condescending. I loved it.

    Mr.

Interesting stuff. I enjoyed the book which I thought had good arguments against religion. I did find it a bit verbose at times + my feeling towards martins idea of another way and religion bringing out the worst in humankind is that, it is that we are human and not religion why we have committed sins of the past and that there will always be one group or another, religious or not who will struggle against other groups.

    Superficial yet entertaining

This book is philosophically superficial however benefits from an expansive vocabulary and a degree of wit.
