    tearful read

What a wonderful read! This book has so much to offer the reader, it goes from heartbreaking to being inspirational and was a joy to read. Lettie goes through so much in her life and yet she copes and is able to move forward with her head held high. This is an emotional read and one that had me in tears at times, but it is a great book and well worth the time and tears to read it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Wonderful Read

Oh my what a wonderful story!! I was immediately drawn into the story from page one. Violet Hawkins, aka Lettie, is a strong character that easily pulls the reader in. As a young woman she longs for a family, freedom, but most of all she's looking for love. San Francisco in 1970 has much to offer, but when Lettie arrives reality smacks her in the face. Finding an affordable place that's safe to live is easier said than done. After 4 months meeting Kenton Chandler was her saving grace, because he offers her a job at his family's vineyards in Oregon. What Lettie didn't expect was to find the beauty and fascination the land brings her. This captivating and heartwarming story of Lettie Hawkins flows effortlessly. This spectacular read has engaging characters, captures time and place, shows realistic values and beliefs, and love. This unexpected gem was hard to put down. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves a good story. I received this book from the publisher via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    An emotional page turner

What a fantastic emotional book. This book will take you on a roller coaster ride and have you needing tissues several times. Lettie ages out of the foster care system and heads to San Francisco. Her money doesn’t last as long as she hoped and when she sets down on some steps, she meets Kenton, who will change her life. I don’t want to leave any spoilers because I really hope everyone will read and review this amazing story. I will say, you will love these characters and the descriptions will have you wishing you was there. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Oregon Vineyard Saga

This novel is the story of one woman's life from teenage years onward. It is a nice, long book that lets the author tell a complete story across the decades. This story is written so well that it was like a movie playing in my head. The story is told without judgment or horror, it is just what happened. I loved this book, can't wait for the sequel and know that I will read it again! I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
