good if you're curious about Polly

If you enjoyed the 'Old Girls Network' then this book is worth a read. It follows wayward Polly after she gets her 'happy ending'. It's cute, fun, and a little bit ludicrous. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who didn't read the 'Old Girls Network' since the characters aren't developed in this book. It seems to rely on the idea that you already know and love the characters from the previous book.

    Going to far

I just can't stand Polly. Got a third thru and I can't read another page. :( I want a refund.

    Going too far

I have never been so exasperated with a book before. The main character, Polly, was an absolute idiot and a totally unbelievable. No one would behave like she did. The lies she told to her husband and to other characters. I have read Catherine Alliott before and have loved her stories. For her to demean herself by writing that rubbish is beyond belief. I never leave a novel, even if it is very badly written, but there was no way I could carry on with this one. I got to the part where Polly is trying on lots of outfits at Pippas. It was so predictable and I'm sure Polly will not get back to Cornwall for Nick's delivery. I was totally and utterly disappointed. The story was farsical.
