    Hilarious!!!

This book was an absolute riot!!! Gah! Jana Aston is a genius! The more I read of her books the more I want to beg her to write faster. I've had a stressful few days and this was exactly what I needed to uplift my spirits. This was romcom brilliance! Lydia Clark. I adore quirky, nerdy characters and it really is tricky to get the right balance and still be loveable and adorable. Lydia is the right mix. She was awkward but not even in a cringeworthy way, she was just adorable. I totally laughed out loud so many times because of what she did or said. Add in a wacky best friend and I was rolling with laughter. Rhys Dalton. He's your typical busy millionaire who has no time or interest in dating. He's 12 years older than Lydia. He should not be letting her distract him but her good girl vibes is totally turning him on and he can't stop thinking about her. The way Rhys reacted to Lydia's quirkiness added more entertainment to an already funny story. Then you got Rhys best friends chiming in with their two cents. Really, you can't go wrong with this story. It was fun, quirky, flirty and sexy! I'll be re-reading this one for sure. ARC provided by author.

Get OUT of my brain, Jana!

There were so many moments where Lydia it felt like Jana Aston had been eavesdropping in my head...and then been kind enough to render me just a little funnier and a little more endearingly quirky than I actually am! I liked both characters a lot, though would have appreciated a little more character-driven insight into why Rhys was, up until meeting Lydia, as much a tool as he seems to have been. Nonetheless, without her taking him on as a project (unhealthy!), she does provide him with some insight and represent a clear alternative. Lydia especially reads, to me, as an answer to the question "what would a Manic Pixie Dream Girl be like if she was treated as a real character, with her own inner life, rather than merely as a catalyst to the male protagonist's own character development, before she disappears into her Manic Pixie Dream sunset?" Major props on that front. Oh, and the sex...? MORE than merit-badge-worthy!! Smokin' while still being affectionate and respectful; made my lady parts tingle! Will certainly re-read, and will look for more Jana Aston.

    Couldn't put this down!

I love this book too. Anabelle is the wrestling coaches daughter. She moves to go to school there. A bet gets put on her head and it makes her mad. She gave it right back and I have to say well played. I was laughing and smiling throughout this book as well. Elliot is an athlete. He plays soccer for fun. He keeps to himself. Until he meets Anabelle and becomes his roommate. He is a little selfish and I felt bad for her but she took it so well. She knew what needed to be done. Highly recommend this book. Another great read.
