  • This book has it all

You never know how it’s going to work when two very successful authors come together to collaborate a book well all I’m going to say is Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely are perfect together and like all great writing duo’s both added something very special to Good to Be Bad. This is Weston (West) Byron, owner of a Tea Room and Gigi James, owner of Sweetie Pies story and the attraction they have for each other is pretty much instant from the moment they meet at a nerdy game night. They both only expected one night but that was never going to be enough for these two. A talented baker falls for the dirty talking English businessman but what will happen when Gigi finds out she is having fun with the enemy, when she finds out West also has some talented baking skills. The fun and games really heat up when they both enter the same dessert contest, can this couple keep their hands off each other long enough to produce a winning dessert...... I loved everything about this book, I smiled, i swooned and I giggled as I joined West and Gigi baking up some seriously hot moments. I loved the relationship Gigi shared with her Gram and I loved the relationship West had with his sister, I also have to say West melted my heart with his love for Gigi. Right now I’m off to one click the audio version of this entertaining read because I can’t wait to hear Shane East bringing this dirty talking English man to life.

  • Quirky and Sweet

I love it when these two authors collaborate together, it’s an easy flow as their writing styles are so similar, it’s like it’s one and the same. This third book in the series has a slightly different feel to the others but just as satisfying to read. It’s an insta romance, without any major drama or angst, but still a lively and light love story. There are some humorous moments but I feel it is a sweet contemporary novel. I knew Gigi was going to be special, that came across from the previous book, but she was even more effervescent and vivacious and that suited West to a T. Most of the time, she had confidence in abundance which is attractive but she also had a vulnerable side from being hurt in the past that was endearing. She wasn’t a dweller but a doer and she set about to make things right when need be and she also had a fair idea what she wanted. One of those things was the delectable and fetching Englishman she met at a game night. Weston was suave and quick with his hands, yes that too, but he could finish a Rubik’s cube in under a minute! Impressive! Other things he took his time to savor. 😉 West was smart and funny, he matched Gigi’s flirty personality and had a dirty mouth that had her swooning for more. The start of the book was a little slow going, but as a consequence, it set up the deep connection this couple had from the beginning. And every day they spent together bonded them further. I’m not sure if there’s another book in this series, or if these two will write together again, but I know I’ll be reading it.

  • Swooned from the beginning!

Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente join forces once again to bring us Good to Be Bad, which is a fun story that had me swooning from the beginning. Gigi James is the owner of Sweetie Pies and she's just as a sweet as the pies she creates. She hasn't been lucky in the love department, so right now she's completely focused on her business and hoping to win the title of Mrs. Sweets in the upcoming competition. West Byron has moved to the area from overseas and he's just about ready to open a tea shop with his sister that will honor their mother's memory. It's something they have been planning since they were teenagers and he's excited to get started. Gigi and West meet at a social event and hit it off immediately. The chemistry is undeniable and after an amazing night together, both of them know this was different than what they have experience before. When the two realize they are one another's competition, with businesses right across the street from one another, things get a bit rocky. Will they be able to put the competitiveness aside to potentially be what they've each been missing? Or will the mindset about their businesses win out? Gigi and West were so fun! Their love of games gave them that thing in common to really propel them to see what they might have together. It's always good to have someone you can relate to so much in your corner. I enjoyed this immensely!

  • Perfect Recipe for a Delicious Romance!

Good to Be Bad has the perfect recipe for a delicious rivals-to-lovers romance! It is the perfect blend of humor, heart, and sizzling hot passion! Gigi and West are so perfect for each other. They meet at a gaming competition, being attracted at first sight, but then bonding over their love of games and competition. They have one night of explosive passion, not expecting anything more. But they both can't stop thinking of the other, until Gigi discovers that West is her bakery's new rival, not only across the street, but in the local Bake-off competition that she is desperate to win. They both have their reasons why they want to win, but even that isn't enough to break their undeniable connection and explosive chemistry. This story was so much fun, and was so clever. I loved the way Gigi and West's relationship evolved. From the way they challenged each other that grew into unconditional support, to their witty banter, and their sizzling chemistry made them so perfect together. I also loved the competition and the twists and turns this story took. I especially loved the ending, along with the purrfect epilogue! I absolutely loved this fun, emotional and steamy romance that captured my heart and made me completely happy!

  • A Yummy Story!

Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely are such a fun writing duo! Gigi is a pie shop owner and the sweetest most loving person on the planet. West is a hot Brit that owns the tea shop across the street. Both are extremely competitive and kind of kinky! Together they are a perfect match! This book was a treat from beginning to end! I practically read it in one sitting. I also listened to the audio book and let me tell you~ Shane East and Lili Valente did a wonderful job with these characters. It was so hot, I was worried my kindle might melt.
