  • Beyond stunning!

Once again, Devney Perry gives us a wild ride with a unique storyline, raw passion, feisty characters and so so much more! In the Gypsy King, we meet Bryce, a hungry journalist who wants answers, and Dash, the one who could give them all to her. But what neither of them expected was the implosion that followed. Not just the fall out of everything happening around them, but their connection and sizzling chemistry! I love the level of mystery that keeps you totally intrigued throughout the story and has you wanting to read it in one sitting. Seriously though, you will not want to move and ignore the world! The one thing I love about Perry’s work, is how she intertwines an amazing romance but with an epic suspense. Also that there are ties to another series that is beyond epic and had me all excited about! The development of both Bryce and Dash in this story is fun as well. Seeing both of them so determined to undermine each other to their explosive passion, had you swooning and giggling at the same time. The banter of these two and what they do to each other is hilarious. Overall, I cannot say enough about this book. I loved it from the first page to the ending and it left me with questions and begging for more! The complexity of this series is going to have me wrapped up in it till it is over! When it comes to fluid words and unprecedented concept, Devney Perry is the author to go to! Run, do not walk for this story!

  • This book is King! All the Stars!

Devney Perry, you are sheer genius! Please keep writing all the wonderful stories in that gorgeous mind of yours! When you said you were writing a MC book, I was salivating! This book was amazing! This story takes place after the Tin Gypsies have disbanded. Sparks will fly between Bryce Ryan, the new journalist in town, and Kingston “Dash” Slater, whose father is arrested for killing a woman at the local hotel. Will Bryce get her story or her man? This book had me on the edge of my seat! It does not end on a cliffhanger, but the story will continue in Riven Knight! I for one will be waiting with bated breath to read this next installment! One of the best books I have read this year—5 amazing stars!

  • Gypsy King

An interesting story including Bryce and her MC Gypsy King better known as Dash. Unfortunately we don't know whether Dashes father went to jail for a murder he didn't commit or whether sufficient doubt was raised against the charge. Great story written well.

  • Live to Ride. Wonder Free

4.5 Live to Ride. Wonder Free stars!!! Fantastic start to a must read new series. Gypsy King isn't a "normal" biker book, this is the story of what happens after. The Tin Gypsys have disbanded, and they are having a go at a "normal" life and they are surprisingly loving it. So their new world falls upside down when one of their own is the main suspect in a horrific murder. The way the story progresses and how the characters develop keeps you second guessing, Did he do it? Who is the real murder and why frame Draven? I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, Devney Perry writes up the best Heroes! I loved Dash, his charming, loyal, all alpha but he also gives Bryce her place, surprisingly sweet and keeps his word. Now I wasn't sure about Bryce to be honest. She's normally my perfect heroine, strong, independent, snarky and determined. But it was that determination to sink down the Tin Gypsys that had me not understanding her reasoning for it, but as the story and her relationship with Dash progresses she finally gets it. It didn't matter who and what they were then, what mattered was who they were now, so I was very pleased with her character development. The chemesthry and banter between them is HOOOOOTTTTT, and the action and mystery really wrapped this book into a great read. This book is Definetly a stand alone but keep in mind that some of the main plot is still unresolved and it will keep on going for the next book Riven Knight.

  • Devney Perry will make you an MC person!

The thing I love most about Devney Perry is her ability to write anything. She goes from down home romances- to an MC novel. Set in the beautiful town of Clifton Forge, Montana- Gypsy King takes us on a roller coaster of a ride. Bryce Ryan is a journalist who is hell bent on getting her story. She has moved back to her hometown and now owns the newspaper with her father. As wonderful as it is to report small time things- Bryce longs for the big story and she just might have found it in the former Tin Gypsy Motorcycle club. She is convinced they are responsible for the death of a woman in town. And she got more than she bargained for in the leader of the group, Kingston “Dash” Slater. He exudes charm and charisma- in only the way one of Devney’s heroes can, gruffly. This story shapes up to take over one of my favorite books from Devney – the Coppersmith Farmhouse, which was her very first book. And FYI, I am NOT an MC type of girl, I rarely read those- but because Devney is Devney- I HAD to read this, and I was thoroughly surprised by every twist and turn. Make no mistake, this is advertised as an MC book, but I would not discredit it as very much being a romance- with lots of thrills and mystery thrown in. So if you aren’t an MC type of person- give this one a go, I am telling you, you won’t be disappointed. i never am when it comes to Devney's writing, she has a gift.
