  • Hard Climate

I loved Ryan and the author did something I thought impossible, she redeemed Mango in my eyes. I really enjoyed seeing Ryan make Mango work to earn his trust, Ryan was so worth the work. These characters were wonderful and their story is another great addition to the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Heartwarming m/m Romance

First off I love the name Mango. Now to the review. I just love this book and I love this series. Susan MacNicol is a terrific writer and she does a great job with this book and the up and down relationship of these two men. We have seen them in the previous books and now we get their story which I loved. I haven’t read anything by Susan that I haven’t loved actually. If you like your m/m romance with lots of emotion then read anything by her and you won’t be disappointed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Sometimes you need a wake up call

This is another book in the Men of London series. The story starts off with us meeting Mango Manning. A eco warrior who is suffering from commitment issues and desperately needs to work on his people skills. He has been in a on again/off again relationship with Ryan Bishop for two years. Ryan a night club owner and performer has had enough of the loving and leaving. He needs someone who wants to be in a committed relationship. So in order to achieve that he knows that he must end things with Mango and cut him out of his life. He is brutally honest with Mango and tells him that they can't just revert back to friends as he knows that he needs time to begin a new chapter in his life. A clean break it must be. To Mango, this decision comes from out of nowhere. He thought things were going well. He talks with his friends and they all side with Ryan. They tell him that his behaviour was inexcusable. Leaving someone in the morning and with no note nor date of return is not the way to treat someone you respect and care about. Realizing that he may in fact lose Ryan for good this time, Mango makes some smart life decisions. However, for Ryan it is all too little to late. You can't show someone you've changed if they won't talk with you. So Mango has an uphill battle ahead of him if he wants to prove to Ryan that he is interested in real committed relationship. So it is from that point that both men have to work to have the relationship that they wanted. Of course, nothing goes that smoothly so their are some surprising bumps in the road ahead to happiness. • Hard Climate.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Ryan owns a London nightclub owner, he is looking for a relationship that is monogamous. Mangos an ecco friendly he goes all over the world protect even protester and at the drop of a hat. Ryan and Mango see each other, Ryan is sick of Mango taking off without letting Ryan know and Ryan was in love with Mango. Mango does not do relationships but he does not do relationships. Can the finally get to get? The chemistry between them was hot and steamy, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
