    Excellent

Jennifer Dawson takes us back to Revival, Illinois in this fantastic opposites attracts story that had me laughing and swooning at the same time. It's a great small town romance as city girl Sophie Kincaid finds herself inexplicably drawn to small town guy Ryder Moore. Yes, he's the bad boy type she's always found attractive but she's sworn off that type so why is he getting under her skin? She's only in Revival because her professional life imploded and she needs this job to get her footing. Ryder knows just the type of woman Sophie Kincaid is and he'll just have to deal with her for the short term lease she has on his house. Her beauty and snarky mouth will have no affect on him. At. All! Ok, maybe a little. What would a little fun with the city girl hurt?? A great read and one I highly recommend. Although part of a series this is easily read standalone.

    Sophie & Ryder

Sophie Kincaid is utterly professional and composed businesswoman and it's not easy to throw her off balance. Or maybe it's what she wants everyone around her to believe. When her life and career in Chicago are put on hold in just one day she doesn't give up. She faces her problems head-on and quickly creates a whole new plan how to fix them and get back her old life. But then she meets Ryder Moore, seemingly to all of her friends he is just her new landlord and neighbor, but for her Ryder equals trouble. From their first meeting, the instantaneous lust and attraction between them are simply overwhelming, and that's not good because now her whole plan suddenly becomes much more complicated. I liked the storyline and the idea behind this book, but to be completely honest I had slight difficulties with connecting and identifying with main characters in the first half of the book. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun while reading it and truly recommend it. I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

...addictive and entertaining tales of romance.

Ms. Dawson has a talent more magnetic than seduction. Her knack to find humor in moments that are not always humorous is why I keep coming back for more. Within the pages of her tempting novels are morsels of optimism that touch the heart and characters that set hormones raging. Head over Heels is an alluring opposites attract tale of intriguing romance and emotional upheaval. Ryder and Sophie can bring out the worst in each other, but that thunder is morphing into something neither thought possible. LOVE! Jennifer Dawson keeps readers guessing with addictive and entertaining tales of romance.

    Amazing trip to Revival

Do you know the feeling you get at the beginning of a really awesome book? When you get sucked in after the first few pages and you just know it's going to check all your boxes? Witty banter. Off-the-charts chemistry. Swoony hero. Lots of heat. Self discovery and emotional growth. Amazing writing. This is a Jennifer Dawson novel, so I expected a great read, but Sophie and Ryder's story blew me away. Sophie temporarily moves to small-town Revival, needing to take a break from Chicago after a professional crisis. Ryder is the bad boy/good cop living next door. It's lust at first sight, but this city girl and country boy think each other is trouble and want to keep their distance. Their explosive chemistry and close proximity have them exploring a relationship while she's in town. But what will happen when the big city and a new job opportunity come knocking? I've loved every book in the Something New series, and Head Over Heels is fantastic. I hope we get to visit the small town of Revival again very soon!
