    Hell hath no fury

Great Characters. A fun first novel. Although she could use a bit more editing, the author delivers an excellent story about a young woman who is betrayed by her new husband and in her quest for revenge meets a man who could be the love she wanted and needed in her life.

    Entertaining Read

Hell Hath No Fury is a well-written and entertaining read. Despite a few phrases that were a bit out of place with time, Anders does a good job of setting the scene and drawing the reader in. We also get some suspense with our romance as the honorable Stephen and our fiery heroine, Cecily, work to manipulate Flavion, and it appears that someone is out to get rid of Cecily... Permanently. The chemistry between Stephen and Cecily can't be denied, even though Stephen's honor demands that he do just that and the banter between them adds some wit and fun to the story. With some characters we can love and some we can love to hate, this romance kept me turning pages to see if this pair would get their happy ever after and if the bumbling Flavion would get his just desserts. Overall, this is a solid debut from Anders and I look forward to seeing what's next from this author.

    Fantastic!

Annabelle Anders is a new author to me, and I absolutely love her writing style. Not to descriptive, unpredictable, fast paced, action packed, suspenseful, and mysterious. A definite page turner! With duels, snakes, mysterious happenings, attempted murder, just among a few things, readers will find themselves engrossed and enthralled. Add in a few twists and turns, and you have a masterfully and brillently written Recency Romance. Captivating!! Definitely a keeper!

Beautiful, witty and a bit of grit

What a wonderful story. A rake with a title seems to be the most dangerous thing. Cecily is in love and with a remarkably large dowry, she married her love. But once she is locked in, this changes quickly and quite dramatically. I liked Cecily in this story. Though she has been terribly used, she is willing to fight. And Stephen had more honor in his little pinky than most men of the ton. The banter between Cecily and Stephen made the book, in my opinion. The wit and intelligence shown between the characters and in the way, they both dealt with each situation was refreshing. The ending was poetry itself! Well done and wonderfully written. I will look for more by this author in the future! This was a fantastic debut!
