    Tense and Exciting

This is a tense and at times creepy story. During WWII Nazis and the Japanese combine to make a secret missile base deep in the Amazon jungle where they are trying to complete an intercontinental missile and a biological weapon to serve as its payload. MacCready, Schutt’s hero, is a zoologist who gets the job of finding out what they’re doing. You have all the normal tension and excitement of trying to survive in the deep jungle, but you also have a twist on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Lost World which definitely, and intelligently, ups the tension. Then of course, there are the Nazis. This was a very exciting book.

    Adobe DRM? No Thanks.

When I purchased this book, I didn't realize it was an Adobe DRM book. I don't read those, period, and detest DRM in any form so I just wasted my money, and have no idea as to the quality of the writing. I've deleted this one from my library.
