    An entertaining read

A deliciously wonderful adventure of hilarious proportions! Full of colorful characters and even more colorful dialogue. It's a fun trip through Hell and other dimensions with some romping and tentacled sea monsters on the side. The epilogue was personally a little bit disappointing for me as I was expecting to learn something new about the main characters. There was some of that but mostly it seems to be the start of a new story entirely. Plus, the REASON for the whole adventure was really disappointing. 4 stars: Although the romping was great, the story just wasn't sweaty and kinky enough as I thought it would be with a book title like this. All in all a fun and entertaining read.

    Back into Hell!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Eve's done it again and she's done it but good! Lucifer's at it again with his matchmaking schemes, but can he really make this one work? Hell's biggest geek paired up with one ass kicking Amazon? Adexios and Valaska could not be more opposite, but maybe that's a good thing, as their mission to count the demons in the wilds of hell turns into so much more. Scattered throughout the story, we get snippets of Lucifer and Gia's ongoing story and more hints at the new threat to Hell. The reveal and surprise twist at the end has me already eager for my next trip into the Pit, via Eve! Sassy, sexy, funny addition to the series. I received a free ARC for an honest review.

    Sexy, laugh-out-loud funny adventure!

Eve Langlais never fails to make me laugh out loud and her Hell series definitely makes me break out into giggles. I love the role reversal in this one. Geeky guy and bad-ass warrior chick. It made for a really fun read. I love Dex and he's definitely sexy using his brain to get through situations. He also had a wicked sense of humor once he got past some of his shyness. Valaska is awesome. She definitely isn't afraid of going after what she wants and loves a good fight. They made for an interesting pair that worked well together. Lucifer is definitely one of my all time favorite Eve Langlais characters. He's so out there and just a riot to read. He's also surprisingly good at being a match-maker. There was lots of action, adventure, and sea-creatures thrown into the mix. It was a fast and really fun read. I can't wait to see what the next book brings!

    Make way for the Geek

"The tentacles that felt a need to taunt his more delicate manparts as he scissor-kicked behind the boat. After that last time, he’d thought his balls would never come out of hiding, and even remembering the slimy touch still made them shrink." 'Lucifer peered down at his bright red duckie slippers, sporting an ivory set of horns. “Dammit. I meant to change out of those before coming to this meeting.”' "With an evil chuckle that he must have gotten high grades on in villain university" I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Adexios is a ferryman, the son of Charon the original ferryman to be exact. And he has the worst luck, from his souls rebelling and taking over his ship to the sea monsters eating his oars and making him swim home. That is until Lucifer demands he enter the wilds and count the number of demons he has at his disposal in case of war. But Adexios is no warrior so to protect him Lucifer sends along Valaska, Amazon Warrior. Eve has released another amazing, giggle-tactic book. Adexios is not the usual inhabitant of hell, he's not concerned with proving he's brave and strong. Nope, he's more than happy to let Valaska handle that side of things. Valaska is used to being around warriors, and while her head says weak men are not for her she can't help her attraction to Adexios. By their adventure into the wilds takes a sudden turn for the worse when it's flooded. I giggled while reading this, which is quite dangerous when your eating and nearly choke. There is so much fun about this book. Adexios and Valaska have this awesome dynamic, the traditional roles have been slightly reversed. And while Adexios isn't one to just sit back and let Valaska eke out all the badass-ery he knows she's far superior and is happy to just lend a helping hand occasionally. While this is a series of standalones I highly recommend you read it from the start of the series. There are character and event connections to each book that improve the story if you've read the books in order.
